my results of that very useful tutorial are in the link of my sig :D
wish I could give ISK for that helpful tutorial, but I'm still broke from ship loss :(

Very nice tutorial, I followed it to the second c4d render, and then tried to improvise lol 
This is what I ended up with; nothing compared to the master of course

I didn't really like my first result when i tried to follow the tut to 100%
then later on i did another sig with some of the stuff i learned from reading it
and i quite like the result:

yeah well never 100% follow the tut except you use the very same stock :P
A tut is just an explanation what I did which should inspire you... to do something like it or diferent or whatever.
Critique for your sig:
Mask the c4d more.

Heh, whilst it is nice to see how others do it, its not the only way, you have to realise.
This method is completely different to mine, in that i prefer to rely on custom brushes and filters rather than grabbing a premade render and fiddling with it. That's not to say I don't utilise others artwork, since I use alot of my brothers artwork for backgrounds and such.
