Ive been looking through this forum and I havent seen any new hawk setups from after the patch.
Im thinking of setting it up with rockets, the dps is nice and with t2 rockets it can hit from quite a long way away (for rockets  ). If anybody has any new setups please post them

The DPS is NOT nice... Not compared to any other AF anyway. For setups, look at the ships setups sticky, I've got a thread there with some setups.

Yeah, the max damage a hawk can put out with everything maxed out and set up for damage is about 170dps, compared to around 300dps with similar damage setups on other AF.
That being said, the hawk is far less vulnerable than other AF, especially against NOS, which will turn other AF's damage from 300 to essentially 0, while leaving the hawk's damage constant. Plus factor in better tanking, and if using light missiles the choice of fof, and you have a very robust ship with very low damage.

Crow does around 150dps to the Hawk's 170. That's fitting 2 bcu2 on both ships, along with rage rockets, and seeing as not only is it difficult to fit 2 bcu2 on a Crow, but it's impossible to run a mwd with rage rockets, the Hawk definitely wins out over the Crow on dps.
Another way to look at it: 3 launchers on a Crow, 4 on a Hawk, 4 launchers will do 33% more damage than 3, the Crow gets 25% more damage bonus than a Hawk, leaving 8% higher base damage on the Hawk. Plus as I stated before though, it's much easier to fit for damage on a Hawk as well.
