I've been wondering if giving the NOS modules the same kind of 'penalty' that missiles get would make them useless. My initial thoughts would be that if you are using a heavy NOS on a frigate that the frigate would only lose cap at a rate similar to if it had a small or medium NOS draining it. I'm not biased towards any ship size as I fly almost all types infact I fly larger ships a bit more than small ones but this has always been something I wonder about.

It doesn't work...
The problem with this (and turrets and missiles) is that 2 inties can lockdown a battleship completely and take it out. The only defence the battleship would have is to either carry light drones (acceptable) or gimp its setup tp cope with these smaller ships.

Or you could fly with friends? Eve is a group game after all...

Bad idea. If CCP is going to do that, nobody is going to fly battleships any more.

Its actually funny how frigates are more pwnmobiles than battleships these days.

If it was changed id just strap on med/small NOS, the 'frig lobby' crowd would still be buggered.

I prefer the proposed fix, nos to a certain percentage then Nuet to remove the rest.
If its sig based you could end up with NOS proof inties just because they are inties...
Also their is the problem of NOS using more cap than they can pull in for you...
