We're a small but growing corp, seeking to make a name for ourselves in the universe, sadly a group of new players encounter a lot of attitudes off of people. There is some good news however, if you decide to kick their ass suddenly they become very friendly and respectful! Based on this principle GITP have adopted a shoot first and ask questions later policy. We're based out of Amarr low-sec... thats it really, we value the people more then SP but would prefer people have a little experience before joining, characters under 2 weeks will be rejected immediatly however for obvious reasons. A few requirements: 1). Be mature and respectfull, just because we kill people doesn't give us the right to flame / smacktalk them. We have a zero tollerance policy for people being an ass. 2). Be financially self-sufficient, whilst I'm not saying you wont get support off of people you certainly won't be babysitted the whole time. 3) Be ACTIVE European / USEast timezone players, Its bad for all of us if we never see eachother, inactives get culled on a regular basis. 4). Have ZERO or 8.0+ standings with "Freedom Extension" corp (Minmitar). This is required for jumpclones and whatnot. 5). No scamming, this includes the forums, escrow and ripping off newbies. 6). No random podding, unless the guys an ass or its a war, Podding is not profitable, destroys security status and just causes harm to another person with no benefit. Feel free to ignore the body of this message however. Dan's views: Toxins I knew a woman who was about 300lbs at least, she used to eat a ton of crap, never excercise and drive everywhere. However she used to drink "Diet" coke in order to make herself feel better. What people dont seem to realise is that if Substance X is bad for you, no matter what you call it or how little you put in something, the small ammount of Substance X that remains is still bad for you. If one wanted to become a millionaire they could take any product thats bad for you and addictive be it physically or mentally and make a smaller, less concentrated form of it and call it a "Diet" or "light" version. Not only could you jack up the prices and still have massive sales but you'd also make people feel like you were helping them at the same time. Dans views: Being a man. Last night I was talking to a friend, shes you're typical insecure chick and was whining about how society expects her to be pretty and thin and all that crap, however we all know not every chick we meet is that way, fortunatly she is however so its all good. Anyways we came to the conclusion that now society isnt as harsh on what women should look and act like... sadly. So I started speaking to the corp emo (LuingFu) last night and I realised... In todays society and through out history theres even more pressure on men then there is women. To be a man you've got to be strong, fit, tall and able to defend your family and all that crap, never be seen to be a coward (or sensible sometimes) and smack people about when nessacary. So what if hes a coward, so what if hes lacking in the testosterone department, so what if he feels sheer terror in any confrontation. Maybe the worlds putting an impossible demand expecting him to be a man. I read about the "good old days" of ransoms and what not but haven't experienced them in EVE ever. Perhaps this is the deleterious effect of the WCS or maybe not.
