Anyone know if T2 POS ammo or modules or guns is planned at all? |

T2 POS ammo would mean T2 dread ammo. Think about it.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love some XL T2 ammo for my Revelation... but T2 ammo in POS and Dreads is kinda crazy.
In serious consideration, I dunno if I'd want to watch XL T2 crystals break while pounding away at a POS. T2 ammo generally provides some kind of edge in PVP combat. Killing a POS is generally just a matter of time. I dunno if I'd be all that willing to spend the oodles of ISK XL T2 ammo would probably cost just to watch a POS die a little quicker.
Maybe if it increased turret tracking speed enough that I could use Siege mode more in PVP combat . Of course, T2 ammo means we'd need T2 XL guns... and I can only imagine how much those would cost.

Death Star POS:ses already do about 11k dps. Do you really want to make that even higher? ------- I'm not an alt. |

I doubt it, partly simply because they aren't player built. Also, more so, they aren't needed and would make the whole sorry POS-war affair more painful and lag-prone (you die to POS faster, so less lag time is going to be fatal).
Not to mention that I foresee fully insured haulers full of shuttles warping to POSes, not to cause lag, but to waste hostile t2 ammo

11k dps sounds awfully much considering you need to have hardeners and scramblers online at the same time.
But let's assume that you do 11k dps and that the pos is under fire from 5x dreads. 2200 dps / dread.
Let's assume 50% resistance across the board (even though I think 70% is more likely) 1100 dps / dread
A dread with one capital repairer reps 1280 armor / s.
Conclussion: A dread with more or less no tank on can tank the damage output of that POS permanently as long as he has 4 buddies with him... and really... is there any pos removal entity in this game who can not yet field 5 dreads when they are taking on a POS set up for maximum damage?
I would like posses to have WAY better defence, or at least a way to manage them. ---

The best POS defence is lag; and targeting can be achieved by manipulating the standings system.

It CAN, but hardly effective. It's a bit sour to have to do work standings and besides that be able to do it hours in advance is a bit sketchy.
You should be able to set different guns to fire at only specific target types imho. ---
