I was wondering if there was any reason that there are multiple warp disruptors with strengths of 2 or 3, yet stabilizers only come with a -1 rate? A person could load up on stabilizers, eating up all his low slots, but this is almost useless as well. Lets say, a person loads up 4x stabilizers for a total warp scramble strength -4.
He is targeted by 2 people, 1 person has a Tech 2 for a scramble strength of 3, and the other has a pair of tech 1s for a total of 5.
The target is with 1 other person, who can do nothing to help, and has a extremely slim chance when fighting back as he used up so many low slots. Or, 1 ship has 2x tech 2s, for a strength of 6.
Why he hell does countermeasures need to have 1 slot taken per point when the jammer can have strengths of 2 and 3 while onl taking up 1 slot? Where are the better stabilizers? Where is the support module for assisting a ship in overcoming warp jamming?

Because getting one of those tech 3 scrablers is expensive and difficult.
Because it's already hard enough to hold someone that is using several wcs
Because by using wcs you are giving up your ability to use your low slots.

Aye, I've always wondered why offense is cheaper than defense in this aspect. The price you are paying is slots, you lose up to three of your low slots to counter a single module? How is that anywhere near realistic in this instance? Scientists of corporations would be developing better modules and more stable warp cores to try and counter this for the cash alone! Supply and demand... there is a demand, now where is the supply? It's a market that is just ripe for the plucking.
