Been running quite a few missions, and just got to lvl 4 missions, problem is that the lvl 4 agents are courier types. How big are the cargoes for them? How many jumps on average? Just interested if they are actually doable before I try them and find out that they require huge cargoes and oodles of jumps.

Doesn't really matter, as of tommorrow, all courier missions will be retired, at least for a while. No dev/gm has given a date for when they might be coming back.

manufacturing agents will still drop some of the new courier (u may find youreself repeating the same missions ovre and over tho) = will be interesting but i have been on SISI and a good variety still remain - um between 0.1 m3 generally most are in the 5k - 10k m3 range with a few up to 100,000 m3 missions

i heard direct from sharkbait - u might want to get the SISI guys to try manufacturing agents directly they are the only 100% courier as it stands if they are all removed we will soon know about it.

Level 4 courrier missions used to give you 3 groups of missions.
small parcel drops...packages in the 1-10 cargo size
medium hauls in the 20-40k cargo size..
and the large missions (only given out 1 out of every 7 missions or so) the largest of which i saw was over 150k cargo series of drops between 4-5 stations.
The large ones, for the right fitted ship would take 1.5 to 2 hours or so, but would pay up to 3mil+ in combined payment and bonus. Not as much as combat missions, but far....but then again no risk at all to your ship.
If you find a good agent, they will only send you to systems 4 or 5 jumps away and will keep you in 0.6 and above space.
Of course we will see if they implement them under the new code eventually. It will be a sad day if they dont.

Insane Industrialists (a lev 4 courier mission about transporting 2.5 mil tritanium) is still in (offered by an agent since patch deployment).
