A few hours after the highly publicised fully dev blogged patch day, I open the forums to find threads complaining about loss of courier missions and OS like it was a suprise!
Does no one read the dev blogs, news items, forum stickies???

Nope. People know there is a patch, but they assume their corps' forum ***** will tell them alla bout it.

here's a bright one!
CCP start sending EVEMAIL before the patch, like a week before and another 1 day before, telling everyone about the patch, also include recomendations to not take any missions for 1 day either side of patch, and also to set LONG skill training :)
wow that was so complicated and brilliant i cant believe i thought of it

Ya know, I honestly see both sides of this issue. Not all players are also forum junkies like we are, but on the other hand they really should check now and then.
I don't know how hard it would be to send an evemail to each character's mailbox, but if possible it might prevent some b!tch!ng.

They can send a message box about BPO's to ALL players with one button... so i guess an evemail not so hard :) |
