Hey all
Looking at the following fit:
Highs:
Core Probe Launcher (cant afford a sister one yet! :)
Cloak
Mid:
1mn MWD
Relic
Data
?
Low:
DC 2
Nano 2
Small Rep 2
Drone Damage 2
Rigs:
?
?
?
So you can see some question marks, looking to be able to do the usual Data/Relic sites, but also try and do some combat ones as well. What recommendations/changes would you suggest to the fitting, including any ideas for rigs, and then what difficulty rating would a ship like that handle?

You want a cargo scanner in the mid slot so you know if it is worth hacking can.
I wouldn't worry about rep module and just fit more tank to survive an encounter, you will either die or escape before you can do many reps.
I usually fit explore frigates for max speed/agility figuring if I actually get caught I am dead regardless of shield/armour. |

For combat sites i would probably fill the rigs with auxiliary nano pumps and/or CCC. Mid slot can be what ever you want. |

Goes 1015 m*s^-1 permanently while tanking 65 EHP*s^-1.
If your cap skills are not both V you will probably want to switch an auxilliary for a CCC.
Now for the reasoning:
EANM provides more active tank than a DCU at less total buffer. Rats shouldn't even remotely be able to break your tank in the first place so more active tank is better than more buffer.
The Nano got dropped for a DDA because dead rats deal no damage and the faster they die the less you have to tank and the more ISKies you get.
The Cargo Scanner ... well you can fit a Cap Recharger if you like really.
Drones to liking. At 25mbit and 75 m^3 you will probably run standart - 5 Hobs, 5 Warriors and 5 salvaging drones.

I have no itention of going low-sec without having the funds to replace :) LEarnt that the hard way last time I was in Eve a year or two back.
After using the above suggested set up (two nano pumps and a CCC allowing me no cap issues), I am comfortably taking 2/10 DED's and made 7 mil in around an hour off two data sites and a 2/10 combat :) |
