Welcome to Fountain.
I'd hazard a guess that the isk values of the snake sets destroyed on both sides is greater than the insurance values of ships destroyed - and the insurance values of ships destroyed in the last week is approaching 10 bill.
Both sides? who was podded with a snake set?

Very nice video. It's been fun with both sides trying to out-maneuver the other. Gotta say, the lag free battle was the best of the battles so far. Glad you got good fraps of it (as I forgot to start mine )
PS - stop calling me primary when I warp in, it's not nice! Sig inappropriate-not eve related -Abdalion

Domi disruptor? wtf? Pimped MWD is one thing... it might be the difference between 10 BS caught in bubble or no kills at all. - But a 140M scrambler on a dictor? Search 'dalman' right click give isk. kthnx.
Video was nice. Not much of camerawork... But it's a 'content video' and then there's no time for it. And content >> graphics. So keep em comming. And train T2 hybrids :p I'm rly surprised BoB decided to warp in that 'close'. Not common at all. But perhaps they figured your side would have as many T2 skilled pilots as them.
Although, I actually think this whole video is a fake as dabster isn't jammed in it Am I forced to have any regret? I've become the lie, beautiful and free In my righteous own mind I adore and preach the insanity you gave to me |

About being jammed, i WAS jammed for 3-4 straight cycles but it was (i think) in the laggy fight where i speeded up 400%, cause 3-4 minutes in the middle of the speedup was cut out for lag-boredom :P ___________________________ Brutors Rule! My Eve-vids; Click. |

I knew you had something cooking It's a nice video and it gives a fair view of the events in Fountain. It got boring after a while thou but that's not your fault, just prefer close combat vids and we haven't had to many of those. And people saying that dabster should zoom should try fighting a competent enemy in a fleetbattle were the slightest mistake can cost your ship. Zooming is just a hassle.
We need more vids of you getting jammed by everything in close combat

As you might have guested, this wasn't a fleet fitting :P
I had been at the logistic station for about half an hour prior to the engagement, sitting in front of the undocking port cloaked and bubbling any hostile undockers. The 30km scram was there to ensure that even intys wouldn't get away. But then somewhat unexpected a celes/outbreak fleet warped in relatively close (except for a short interruption in which they warped off and back again), presenting itself as a very tasty target. Having a juicy target sitting there, 30km in front of me in a cloaked dictor was just too damn nice to spoil. It was worth every penny :)

Who needs propoganda? The facts are always much more satisfying.
This was an amazing video which showed the beauty of fleet battles and the sheer alpha strike contained within the Outbreak frontline.
However, it falls short on the reality of the situation because as a video it is obviously only a snapshot of what has occured in fountain.
Let me fill in the gaps.
Celest and then Outbreak spend two months messing around in fountain and delve while we were camping goonfleet 23/7.
Then BoB returns home.
DICE/BNC are dispatched to deal with Outbreak/Celest in Fountain.
After a month of sitting still, they are caught unaware by the size and strength of the forces arrayed against them.
RKK/EVOL decide to remain out of the fight to let DICE/BNC trim their fat and get back on top. This allows Outbreak/Celest to actually get a fight instead of being blobbed out of existance like 99% of all other 0.0 alliances would do.
After 1 week of fighting, yes, that's 1 WEEK of fighting, BNC/DICE start to get on top of the situation culminating in the first defeat in a fleet battle for the combined outbreak/celest forces. This is the battle shown at the end of the video. Within 48 hours, Outbreak have informed us of their decision to leave fountain.
BNC/DICE pull out, RKK/EVOL roll in to deal with the remainder and are also caught unaware for 1 battle. It is a pity this one was not shown as I wanted it put up as a reminder to RKK of what not to do. It is a mistake not repeated in fountain, nor will it be repeated again.
With outbreak now gone, RKK and EVOL mop up the remainder of the Celest who are now outnumbered and losing all class of ships at an accelerated rate with seemingly less and less desire to replace thier ships and get back into what is obviously a losing campaign.
The video is aptly titled. "Trouble in Fountain". This is exactly what anyone attempting to move into fountain without our wishes can expect. Our full attention, our full desire, our full logistical ability to get back in the battle within 24 hours of losing a ship.
We win battles, we lose battles but we never lose the war.
If anyone else thinks this video shows any weakness in BoB then please, by all means, I beg you to emulate this amazing video and the fights BoB and our enemies were treated to during the week.
Dabster: I look forward to more videos and more fights, cheers, dbp
