I lost 2 times a navy Raven isseu ship becouse of it and 2 times the gave it back to me . The last time even in 1 minute so the realy like to help us and the realy dont like the downtime them self . So trust me the do all the can to avoid it . While I do not always agree with the people starting these topics they do have a valid point (concerning much longer than expected downtime). Now some other companies give a free extra day, others don't. It's indeed entirely up to CCP. But DO NOT think they base their decision solely on their own EULA.

Pathes are infrequent and usually add to the depth of play moaning wont make the server come back up any quicker. Just chill read the forums and take a load off :)

Scorpyn Caldari Infinitus Odium	Posted - 2006.08.23 12:30:00 - [54] If there is a long downtime, just follow my advice : * Reinstall windows * Make sure that all drivers etc are up to date * Make sure that the bios etc have the latest version * Clean the room/apartment/house At least that's what I'm doing (and will be doing) for the next few days (I'll reinstall linux aswell but most ppl don't use that, which is why I omitted that in the list). That way, no time is lost, and you can feel good about having done something somewhat good instead of playing.

Ok downtimes been a fair bit the last few days, but the game itself it reasonably painless. Logged in earlier, not a single bit of lag, anyone remember back to RMR? oh lord, the lag was insane! This patch by far, atleast from a players point of view is the single most painless patch to date. Fair enough, downtime is a pain in the backside, but once eves up, were not getting half of the common issues which happen after patch day! Sit back, watch neighbours if your in the UK, and come back after, and hopefully CCP should have eve back up and stable Remember, we as customers ask for updates, dont say you dont, because if games were not updated we wouldnt stick around very long

And my jaw dropped at how fast my eve mails loaded. :O Very nice optimization there. They took around 2 to 3 minutes to load before Dragon was implemented, take about 15 seconds now. :) Your signature is too large! Please resize it according to the forum guidelines.
