Goodbye to all the good and honest pilots I have met out in the ether...
I have just cancelled my subscription which ends in 3 days time. Eve was great for a few months, but eventually there is nothing left to do once you have gained a battleship, a few cruisers and have fought in a war or two. Sure the game has bugs, and it was indeed great for a while playing alongside the superb guys in Nexus Enterprises...but all good things come to an end I suppose. The final indignity was losing 2 weeks work in a Bestower to pirates. I just can't find the motivation to go and earn it all back again.
So I won't flame the game, or my ex-corp - both were superb, it just doens't excite me any more.
Before anyone asks 'can I have your stuff'? The answer is that the BS, cruisers and modules have already been given back to Nexus Enterprises. On that note, if you are a noob looking for a corp, may I recommend Nexus, who probably have the nicest pilots in the universe :-)

Well thanks for letting the 6000 or so players in eve know that your leaving, im sure we will all miss you and the game will not be the same without you, im so pleased that you made a post to let us all know you cancelled your subscription, well done :)

Hey Gravedigger, Ranandor and Rizzy - it's people like you guys with your childish comments that contribute to the exodus of people leaving Eve - to play something else. When you have finished flaming everyone that decides to leave you may find out that there is no one left in-game to make your ridiculous comments to.
Sadly this game does seem to have attracted more than it's fair-share of unhelpful 12 year old griefer/exploiters. The game will be dead in a year anyway...just take a look at the downward trend in the EVE-I players online stats.
Anyway, sad to say bye to the great players in the game (of which I know a few), and good riddence to the brain-dead idiots (you know who you are)

Oh wait, no they're not and no its not.
And guess what, every online game in the past, all ones that exist now, and every one that will be in the future have rude and childish people.
If you think leaving EVE will get you away from them, you are more sadly mistaken than you were when you loaded 14 day's worth of work into one Bestower.
