Hi, please could someone explain the stacking of these different types of devices, the more i read about them the more confused i am getting.. i currently have a Moa and would like some advice on using these devices over a Shield Booster, and should i be using an EW hardener? much appreciated for your input:)

I have both booster and hardener on my ship.
The BOOSTER is used to RESTORE shield/armour HP using capaitor engery.
The HARDENER is used to ADD HP to the ship's base values.
You can 'stack' boosters to increase the speed at which they replenish the shield/armour (without any penalties I think). They'll just use your capacitor up quicker at the same time as restoring your shield quickly.
Stacking hardeners DOES have a penalty, such that the more modules you use, the less benefit you'll get from each additional module.
For example [Values for example only :)]:
1x = 250 HP
2x = 450 HP (250+200)
3x = 600 HP (250+200+150)
etc.

Wrong, harderners increase the shields/armor¦s resistance to certain damage types, which makes them take LESS damage, and not add HP to them. Adding HP is what Shield Extenders and Reinforced Armors Platings does.
