Now it is the time to pick one. I love missles I like EW but I don't like the idea of having to jamm everyone to have a change of getting them. I would most likely be solo most of the time or in a group whit no EW guys. Personaly I would like to 90 mill ship coz it is so expancive but I would like you guys to make me change my mind or boost my desision on getting the Raven. What would you pick.

Ok... Scorp v Most other ships 1v1.... Scorp wins.
Raven with FoF and good skills v Scorp 1v1... Scorp flees.
In a mixed fleet scorp can hold it's own but is THE prime target for enemy vessels.
The Raven will sit back and launch those torps.

Personally if going on the offencive I would use a scorp. On the Defensive/Patroling I would use the Raven

Both of them are awesome ships...you can't go wrong with either one.

Got my raven a week ago or so. What can I say... It's great! :)
As long as you don't mind launching missile after missile after missile, go Raven. It's a bit tougher than the scorp, but the difference isn't really that big. You'd have to choose based on what playstyle you prefer...

I have to agree with the guy who said the scorp will always be the first ship targeted.
So you need to keep this in mind if you are looking to fight with a few friends .
taking out the EW is always the first thing done in battle.
But the scorp is an amazing ship, so i really dont think that you can compare them to each other, it maybe really depends on what you are looking to do.

Tough one. Scorpion is damn good, no doubt. But Raven kicks some serious ass. I think I might say raven on this one.

It's a tough call.
Both are good ships for 1vs1 or small scale battles.
But the Scorpion is more versatile and useful in large scale battles.
For mining or NPC-chaining they are equally bad.
However, I'd say that the Raven probably is the best of them, BUT the Raven requires more skill points and more expensive equipment than the Scorpion does to fulfill it's potential.
So unless you have enough skill points and the rare equipment needed, the Scorpion is probably better. And if you don't consider yourself rich, the Raven is not worth it's higher price.
