It's inevitable that the Caracal will get hit with the V3 bat sooner or later. I would not go as far as you and call it beautiful, but it certainly has something to it. And the current model allows for some pretty neat modern models, which can easily retain the current shape of the Caracal and still look more contemporary.

Tech 3's need to be multi role ships not cruiser hulls with battleship tank and insane resists ABC's are clearly T2 in all but name.. remove drone assist mechanic. Nerf web strength ..... That's something I definitely could get behind; I like the navy osprey as a pvp boat but I feel kind of weird flying something that looks like an enormously overweight cthulu-quail.

Now, if you want to show your own vision of how the Caracal should look like, sit on your desk with the model viewer on and draw some lines. When you feel right with the shape, add some details. You don't need to be great artist to outline a neat silhouette. Then, say: "This is how I've envisioned this one ship. I believe that those lines should stand at ht base of the model refresh. " Do so, and you might get some positive feedback, alternative suggestions, etc. There was a thread about the typhoon a good time ago that was pretty successful and looking at the new typhoon, the devs may have indeed sourced some inspiration form that discussion.

It's one of the reasons I picked caldari. it is a bit goofy looking in the current iteration, I hope when they look at its design they don't radically change the appearance, but add some clean and appealing features to the model. My only beef with the Caracal is that the old Classic Client low-res model had a thruster on the lower body that made the ship look like it could fly without tipping forward constantly. The only thing I want is that thruster back.
