I logg on after d/t and warp to empire gate, it doesnt let me jump so i wait a little while.
In the meantime i get jumped by a pilgrim and a taranis, easy prey tbh so i launch the drones from my geddons bay and the next 5 mins i spend tanking these 2 while there backup forms up and has a coffee in empire system next door.
The whole time this is happening im able to view my drones on overview ALL 9 OF THEM sitting around me doing nothing, im not able to select any to do anything as they arnt in my drones in space window.
Got screenshots to prove this also.

Ill make no secret im not happy about this, but given that all in local knew of this bugg, they still carry on.
Incidently i got out in full armour due to the suckness of the pilots involved but do any pilots in eve have honour nowadays
So ccp i require all my drones back asap, 4 besrekers t2 and 5 warriors t2 that i had on this occasion. A quick response would be nice if you can bring yourself away from adding more content for aliances etc ( tourny anyone ).

And this is why you don't try to jump out of a 0.0 system directly after downtime. It's generaly a good idea to wait for TQ to settle down before trying to play about.

And youll notice that time in loacl chat till just before i managed to jump out was just under 7 minites, how long should i wait then exactly?
Quite funny really because i had time to pertition and try waiting for response for like 5 minites, gd comeback from the customer support i say for an exploit pertion.

Problem is 2 things...........
1. lame pathetic play by members of corps i thought were better than that.
2. I want my drones back, lost em through no fault of my own and they cost isk, sure i can afford it but a response from people im paying to work would be nice.

Maybe it was a new feature they installed that allows you to launch 9 drones purly for show and tell?

ya i know what you mean.
spent the last 30min listening to some crazy TC pilot moaning about the drones on his ship and a geddon bailing on him after it agroed and gave him 60seconds to kill it.

Why would they NOT kill you mate ? If it clearly a bug you will be reinbursed, if not.... boo hoo
You knew there was problems with the gates, so jumping blind around 0.0 was kind of stupid in the first place.

Wasnt blind, i knew what was in next system and system behind me actually.
And you say why would they NOT kill me.......well>
a) they suck
b) i wouldnt of and i know loads of people like me that after the lengh of time involved in this engagement wouldnt of pursued the kill given the obvious buggyness.
Some people will do anything to get a killmail and stroke there epeens and today i ran into a couple of them.
I think ill make it a bit clearer on the gate thing so as to avoid obvious posts involving people trying to look clever with non constructive comments.
Another guy in our corp flying covert jumped into system before engagement and so no buggs were evident at that time.
Indeed the gate bugg is not whats in question here so plz drop it, the issue is with drones ( all of them in drone bay ) launching and sitting giving the enemy nice shiny things to scoop up.

Wizard, im not sure you should be complaining about people wanting killmails when you are linking to one of your own killboards...obviously you care about your ranking on those things yourself.
However, the main point of the post is that the drones didnt work, because the server was very laggy after downtime. So next time make sure the game is reactive before leaving the station. Even I know better than to just engage people after downtime... :)

Killboard is linked purly because it exists..pure and simple although i realise how that looks, in todays eve they are generally used as information tools in my opinion.
Your second point, i logg on.....i pvp, thats my eve time basically.
I fail to see why i shouldnt engage enemys when others engage me with no buggs to speak of?

I do sympathise with your bug issues (and I don't doubt that given the current state of the game they are genuine) but if yelling "wait! don't kill me - I'm bugged to buggery!" worked on even 1/10th of the PvPers in this game then I forsee a lot more pilots would be encountering 'bugs' (/cough) on a daily basis

My guess is that your client was out of sync with the cluster because of the lag. The others were luckier and was synced with the cluster despite the lag.
Actually login queues might be the only way to make sure the game is playable right after downtime. By limiting the number of people logging on in a certain time period, you are also making sure that the cluster can handle the login load while also handling the game.

and yet you still make referances to their piloting abaility when you in your geddon ran from a pilgrim wich was suffering the same drone issues you had been.
your geddon should be more than a match for a pilgrim with or without the drones.
yet you insult other people who in a pilgrim obviously suffer from a drone issue more than yourself.

If that is really a problem, they should maybe give you that loading message already, if you initiate the warpto the gate and start to load the system.
Ok, wouldn't help with instas, but since they aren't intended anyway that wouldn't matter ( and people could still check, if the next system is already loaded, by initating warp to the gate and aborting )
But generally loading systems on demand is a good idea I think, so it should stay.
Maybe use some heuristics to preload-systems, before people need to jump, if this whole thing is currently really a problem.
Heuristics-example for a typical pass-through system:
If pilot enters through gate A, there has been an 80% chance in the past that he moves on and leaves through gate B into the next system, so we pre-load that system.

I didnt slander there honour?............they have none as was proven by this engagement.
Anyways harmless smack on forum the post your reffering to, i thought it was obvious and it was in reply to the post quoted.
And my geddon was certainly not uber versus them as i knew of a tempest flying with you lot in next system coming my way and before d/t there was like 4-5 other sas/corporation/exotic etc members in system.
Finding 2 of you lot in system without others readily available to help was to much a gd operttunity to resist.
Fairimear do you fly geddons?? im thinking you dont as i fly them AND pilgrims and id gladly pilot a pilgrim versus a geddon rather than the other way around.
With bonus the pilgrim wrecks any chance of a geddon doing sufficient damage to it, the geddons drones are easily tankable by a accomplished pilgrim pilot.
Next attempt at discrediting my arguement plz...........

Drones wernt showing on my overview, neither in my bay or drones in space. Only visually on screen and in overview list with all the other ships etc around me.
I cant scoop what doesnt apear in my overview drone bay or local space can i?

i honestly don't see why you post this. everything anyone says, you shoot down.
as to my answers - you were in 0.0, where people shoot each other. If i'm there and some dude says 'my screen is really weird/my drones don't work/other bug' i half believe him and half don't, but more than anything else, i see this as a great thing - means it's easier to kill them, and that's what i'm in 0.0 for.
so suck it up, buy more drones, and get out there. sheesh
