Last evening myself and a couple others went up against a known PKer who was camping a gate. When we engaged him none of us were able to get a target lock and the strange thing is that the on-screen message said something along the lines of "interference from *player's* salsashark is preventing you from getting a target lock"
WTF is a salsashark in-game??? I know the "Clerks" reference to this but what is this in the game?

that is the standard message you get when trying to target someone's ship as they are going into warp.

"Interferance from the warp [SHIP NAME] is doing is preventing you from getting a lock on them."
Pretty obvious what it means.

Here's what happened:
He saw you. He clicked warp. His warp drive activated, meaning no one could target him.
He probably sat there for awhile while his ship slowly turned towards the warp-point, leaving you to wonder why you couldn't lock.

Same rule and penalties with ship names as character names..
You may not use a misleading, offensive or a NPC name for your ship.

Misleading names on ships is pretty irrelevant, all you need to do is click on the info button to see what you are REALLY dealing with.
shouldn't be an issue, I'll call my Merlin "Spyder Murphy's Megathron", see who I scare off :) hehe
