Can this ship tank/complete lvl 3 missions?
i know it can do some but will it handle the harder ones like Downing the slavers pt 2 and guristas extravaganza etc
Also whats a good setup for this ship, i can currently use a few t2 items (guns,ab,rep, mfs etc) but not hardeners
Also would this be faster then a bc or worth the time vs isk

At least some of them. Run Duo of Death init - BC pops like a corn =)
But it lacks HP to withstand frig-infested and other heavy populated missions, imho. Thou it feels like a fox-in-a-hen-house while on lvl2 =)
ps: imho, Ishkur are slightly better when it comes to frig-hunting.

Hehe did Duo of death no problem in the brutix so far the only on ive had troubles with is downing the slavers pt2 i can do it without warping out but sometimes get into structure but i use a damage control for that mission to have the extra buffer to structure

I can do all level 3 missions but maybe Pirate Invasion (I did not had it proposed in a long time, but the respawn rate was too high, maybe I could manage it now that my skills improved).
Just use rat specific active hardeners (50% ones are not that worse than the 55% ones) and keep in mind that a non moving Enyo (stuck on a structure or webbed) is a dead one, so take note of the rats actually able to web you and make a priority to kill them (names like Wingman, Webifier... Any 30k bounty frigate is very suspicious). Packing some Spike ammo to snipe them sounds like a very good idea. If they still manage to web you, initiate warp out, it will take a long time because of the webbing and if you manage to pop the bastard quickly enough to still be in good shape just cancel warp. You can do "Downing the slavers" part 2 if you keep orbitting and pop the destroyers first, up close they're about the only one able to track you, once they are dead the level is very tankable...
Even the last stage of the new Mordu's Headhunter is doable once you killed the two webbing Bounty Hunter. Their guns mostly miss you and you can easily tank their missiles.

That would have to be one well equiped frig class to solo a lvl3 mission I would think! SS

Edited by: Talori''i on 24/08/2006 19:25:47 To be honest I think the Ishkur makes a better boat for level 3's and gives you the ability to use blasters.
I use the drones for wiping out any webbers.
I would like to use blasters on the Enyo, but I think its better fitted with rails for NPCing to be honest.
Then again I fight serps 95% of the time, so serps = kinetic and thermal, and I take very little damage even when I start getting hit.

No kidding, I was fighting a BS and a Guardian Veteran almost lost me my Ishkur. They also like to pick off my drones.
Although bumping into a structure has to be the most embarassing way to go, by far.

You can do some lvl4 missions in an enyo. Really love this ship.
The only prob doing lvl3 missions (or lvl4) are sentry guns. Everything else is tankable, and may take a bit of time to kill, but np.

The only level 3 I havent been able to complete in my enyo is the slavers 2 of 2.
Agreed on the comment that webbers are your biggest threat. I run my enyo w/ 4 t2 neuts and have to warp out sometimes if im webbed simply because of orbit range...beyond that the enyo is finely suited for L3's
I may have to try the ishkur since the drones would be of excellent use against the webbers and that way using blasters would be more plausible.

Edited by: Klorthos on 28/08/2006 17:00:39 I run 75% of all my lv 3 missions in a enyo or ishkur, if it is serp then more the better.
you only really need to get worried if there are turret 2's or webbers. really webbers will kill you fast.
use hardeners and a repper, ab 2 1 cap charger to keep up with continual gunfire. I personally use drone range extender x 1 on a ishkur so I can pop the frigs way out there before I get webbed.

i've done most lvl 3's my gallente agent gives me in an enyo.
i do prefer rails over blaster. Also keep moving! it's fast enough out-run most of the damage and with the rails it's quite easy to pop the frigs before they get to you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enyo is a fantastic level 3 mission runner. 4 T2 125's and a Standard Launcher; T2 AB and a named Cap Recharger; T2 SAR, best named DC you can afford, T2 EANM, T2 Mag Stab. I mainly use antimatter. I rarely find Spike useful in a mission. I did Mordus Headhunters with that setup last night. Piece of cake, just take out the webifier frigates first. Against Angels, ouch. I drop the Mag Stab and put in a Reactive membrane. But I think a Jaguar will make a better Angel mission ship.
The main thing to remember is always keep moving. Always orbit something. And watch out when you change what target you are orbiting. If you reverse direction when switching to a new orbit target, you will slow down enough to be hit quite easily. I often go straight for a sentry turret and just use it as something to orbit, until I've finished taking out the NPC ships. Even the Sentry II turrets are unable to hit an orbiting AF.

I prefer using my Enyo on level 3's. As already stated, you *must* keep moving. Speed and transversal can keep you from taking a lot of damage. Generally I pick a cruiser out of a group, orbit it at close range, kill everything else in range then kill the cruiser I used as my mobile point of orbit.
I use T2 rails with antimatter and turn on the defenders in missile missions. Also, the afterburner goes on and stays on until everything is dead. I keep my autopilot set a jump away too, just in case I need to quickly hop out so my tank can catch it's breath.
