I've only been playing eve about a month but i'm glad someone finally took out the time to make a game like this.
I just feel personally that it has alot of potential that's not being exploited. Such as training. Why can't we buy downlaodable skills that raise the current skill level. I'ld pay a couple mil a new level to save time on training to work on more important skills.
Well really i could list a millions things this game could do but that wont change anything. But i would like to know if gamers could get more into the game creation end of it. By that i meen like a suggestion box of sorts, and a voting system. give us guys a chance to get more out of the game we love. i think that would be a great thing. give gamers more of a chance to really get intyo the game if they were invited to be involved. I think it would be cool to have open suggestions on what additions peopl would like to see be made to eve and have a vote on it as to wether the gamers would like it or not. granted game fixes and such like the current are not what i meen.
I meen as far as graphics upgrades or new genre for skillls, new weapons or mining equipment. Or my personal grudge the abilitie to make implant blue prints and buils implants. that would be so nice to be able to make implants. i could go on for ever and efver really so i'll shut up now.

What do you think this forum is for? Talk about ideas, and if it gets a lot of community support, the devs might take notice. Odds are your ideas are like my ideas in that they're mostly terrible, but that's why we pay Maya.

Implants, my friend. A hundred million isk or so gets you a full set of +3 implants, which will reduce your training time by 10-15% in most cases. You'll train a week in five days. Just don't get podded.

and i forgot to mention about the player voting and such that it should be more public somehow in the game world so more people notice it like an eve mail or something

I agree with a lot of your ideas. Building implants would be terrific. I think we should be able to manufacture anything in the game, with the exception of officer loot. Standard Launcher + Guristas RDb + mins + time = Dread Guristas Launcher.
But what good would voting do? WOuld the devs be bound to do what we voted in? Surely not. It would be more of a poll, or a survey. We have that now, in this forum, with support for ideas.

democracy in any business is very bad, leaving a decission to a commitee can add months sometimes years to important decisions. there needs the be and overall decision maker. that can just put their foot down and say something like'this is the way it will be, no arguements'. but haveing a player elected council, with a player representitive that have better access to the devs isn't such a bad idea.
it certainly adds a whole new scope to the political aspect of the game.

considering a large number of the dev's play eve, a player council isn't actually that needed.
