It'd be nice if, next time CCP decide to reboot the servers, they post a warning on the news page at the character selection screen.
Having logged on 2 minutes before it was due to happen, only the sheer luck of checking the bounty channel forewarned me of the impending reboot and prevented me warping to a belt where Sansha Beasts and Ravagers lay in wait.
A little forward thinking may save you some complaints, CCP. Put your thinking hat on, eh?

I think the magic hat is a Fez.
A bright red Fez combined with a red vest.

It doesnt matter what CCP does, there always seems to be some kind of complaint eh? All the times Ive been on theyve warned at 20, 10, 5, and then 30 seconds before the reboot.
Besides its hardly a newsworthy item. They reboot all the time.

I was just logining in after reading the news as the server went down.....
Anybody know how long it will be down for please as I have a hundred and one other things that I could be doing instead of continually trying to connect ever two minutes......

Too late for me, I just warped into a belt with 2 50k's  Dont think this is gonna be too pretty when I get back in game

well, they said "a quick reboot", so probably will take 3 or 4 hours.

I do understand, that you are ****ed, because they reboot, but what would have happened, if you had warped to the belt, while the servers were about to be rebooted? Do you think, that you would have lost your ship? I mean, the server goes down....

True, the NPC's won't work if the server is down, but I could also have fallen victim to modules going offline after rebooting and entered space to 3 or 4 Beasts at 5km range.

Atleast you won't log back into PC threats, like some of us will... Mr. I am sooo deep in Stain, you can't smell the **** I am shoveling :)
