Generally in the past, meetups have gone a few hours. People will trickle in and out. It's pretty informal.

Sure, but they'll probably get bored.

In honor of the Boston EVE meetup, I completed a new section on the "Effect of GÇÿApproachGÇÖ and GÇÿKeep At RangeGÇÖ on Transverse Velocity". Long overdue. There will be a quiz tomorrow on using complex vector notation in differential equations.
Also, I have some free t-shirts to add to the give-away for people who agree that MOBAs are silly. See you tomorrow!

I wanted to clarify the verbal answer that I gave you tonight. As I understood it, you were asking if a ship's in-place rotation affected turret tracking. As far as I understand the model, and I have only taken limited data on tracking hit probability, the only parameters that matter are range, sig rad, sig res, the transverse velocity. The situation you were describing sounded, however, as though the ship was not just rotating in place but also moving along some path that was dependent on the target. What I would say is that to answer your question definitively, you might consider making a video captures of the maneuver so that it can be described fully for dev feedback.
Also, thank you to the kind Oklahoman who donated a PAX pass to me. It was cool checking out the exhibits.
