Hi. Could someone pleas list all the skills needed to do material research on blueprints? I purchased a dozen BPO's because I wanted to build things and sell them for profit. In order to do that I have to get the mineral costs down so I need to research them. Problem is every time I try to install a job I get a message saying I have no blueprints in the region. If I purchase a BPC it will show when I try to install a job but you can't research BPC's so I don't have a friggin clue what is going on. I believe I have all the skills needed.
I have 170 skills and 24,777,535 skill points and 1,464,782 points in science skills alone.
Any Idea what's going on?

Are you sure your station has research, not only a factory?

I think its a bug where packaged (still has a number) BPOs dont show up. Try doing it by right clicking on the bpo and going on from there

The station does have the facilities. I've moved the BPO's to other stations with no luck. I also tried right clicking the BPO but it never shows any lab slots. Free or in use, just blank space. And all my bpo's have a "1" in them like they are packaged.

The same thing happened to me till a corp mate pointed out that the 1st time you try to use a BPO you have to right click and select "manufacture" while the BPO is in your hanger. After that it should work just fine.

BPC's are not researchable FYI, only BPOs are.
When you buy a BPO from a vendor it will not be displayed in your BPOs when you click it from the labs menu. You must go and right right on the actual BPO and set up the lab slot from there, rather than the Labs/Factory button. After you use it once for anything, it will then show up on the "My BPO's" key in the labs/factories button menu.

make sure that the bpo is on "me" and not "corp"
i had trouble finding bpos before due to that

Thanks for all your help. It's finally working. When I right clicked on a BPO I always got a blank page where the listing of the labs and install job tab should be. Now they're there. Maybe it was a glitch that was fixed because I didn't do anything different. I still have no idea why BPC's show up on the blueprint screen when I select "original" tho.
Anyways, it's working now and thanks again for all your help.
