Well, that was in a blog!
I think that should be incorrect, the game is nicely balanced, spoiling it is very very wrong. Tech II should be selective in that it gives you a great edge at the expense of cost. Baseline tech II will in many ways reduce tech I to the scrapheap.
I know this question has been asked countless times, but I've never seen a sticky and everyone is going to argue every which way. I know that for many people this could have a huge impact going forwards.
I write these comments based on owning several tech II originals (hence I personally am biased):
1) Will Kali devalue original tech II BPO's
2) Will Kali make orginal tech II BPO's redundant
3) Why affect a system that is providing constant demand for goods in nearly all regions?
4) Will invention and reverse engineering be ubar skills with requirements, and components that make the ability to create your own tech II stuff difficult?
I guess in some ways even once you have made your own BPC's you will still need the production skills, which can be a b**ch in their own right, but I am still concerned.
I guess many others look forward to this with open arms and a thrill of excitment!
So.... discuss.

You seem to have somed up what the dev's have said if you read all the dev blogs on the matter it seem bpo holders will have an advantage in that they will have unlimlit runs and good ME ect. I personal expect alot of people to go for the over priced items, right a way like T2 cap rechargers ect.
so
1) Will Kali devalue original tech II BPO' - yes
2) Will Kali make orginal tech II BPO's redundant - no
3) Why affect a system that is providing constant demand for goods in nearly all regions?
It will even out supple and demand and remove monoplies good for the many bad for the few
4) Will invention and reverse engineering be ubar skills with requirements, and components that make the ability to create your own tech II stuff difficult?
These two combined will allow people to make faction gear of a sort, most likely devalue some faction gear in the prosess.
The T2 bpo holders will profit most from pilot made faction gear as they can mass produce the items need to start with. Also a T2 bpo holder can sell at less than the bpc if whats the dev say comes to pass as the bpc will need more material per item to build.
I expect named moduals to go up in price and t2 to go down across the board

I was thinking about T2 ammo and it seem to me that most people will not bother reverse engineering it. What do people think will happen after reverse engineering gets added ?
