Hi, I just thought about this ship for running level 4 missions, the setup I'm going to write will maybe make you scream "oh noes, dont waste the bonus".... ok, sitting down?...
7x 250mm II
2x small gistii boosters
1x Kin hardener
1x Therm hardener
3x Magnetic field stabilizer II
3x PDS II
10x Light drones, in the drone bay for taking out frigs
the cap should be fine, it will deal 530 DPS (antimatter) with max skills + 5% damage implant - wasting the tank bonus doesnt really matter in this case, because you'll be able to tank the missions by using your mid slots and free up the lows for dealing out more damage.
so, what do you think? - not a mission runner myself, would bore me to death

Part of me wonders if you are joking about shield tanking a Gal. Command ship. With that setup it looks like you really want to own a Vulture (Caldari Command ship). It will take a similar setup (5 turrets, 2 missiles) and will have a better shield tank.
But if you have your heart set on using a Gal. Command ship . . .
Fit tracking mods and a painter in the mids. Switch to an armor tank cuz a shiled tank makes that wonderful armor rep bonus rather . . .

the vulture dont got the firepower to be efficient in lvl 4 missions.

...only way to find out for sure is to try it, though it looks like it should work.
I'm afraid that the same is probably true of most ships you can put twin Gistii A-type shield boosters on, but that's a different discussion.

isnt a ishtar much easier and better? i know we are talking about a shield tanked astarte [which will work if there is no em dmg coming ur way, or just do 2 invols and then it should work no matter what]
but if ur galante spec u have good drone skills, in which case an ishtar with drones does 475dps with ogre t2s, add in another 50 from 3 small rails and you get more than 500dps.
On top of that, you can fit a nice gistii small booster setup, with a AB/dual gistii smalls/dual invols T2. Then have the lows with 1 DCU and a mix of nanofibres/overdrives. gives u a ship with low sig/ 1kmps with AB and a very nice tank with over 500dps, a good agent running ship

Thing is, on my astarte setup I only have 1 less mag stab and probably a MUCH better armor tank...
I suppose if you can kill with it, then it doesn't matter... but for 1 mag stab, I wouldn't change my entire setup.
