Originally from a small town in west texas called Plains, which happens to be 23 miles from the New mexico guy who lived in Tatum. Basicly Lubbock though I know live in Austin.

Hello Gentlemen,
First off, let me say that it is so wonderful to see so many Texans playing EVE. To be highly represented in one of the finest games definetly garnishes us bragging rights. I have read all the posts---ALL of them, and it seems that some of us more enterprising Texans have certainly taken a recruiting stance. To you I say, "good luck, watch your six, and may the ore be constantly flowing in your direction." I would also ask that you entertain another idea: an informal alliance. As Captain Rospond put it,
"Since we all live in texas we can be superstrong and have a nice strong fleet since we all live in the same time zone.=) so think of it 50 some odd people on at once all in battleships form our mining in 0.0"
I, however, am not willing to leave House Draconis--not after all the hard work I put into building this home. Nor would I expect any of you to do the same. However, that doesn't mean we can't work together to our mutual benefit. An informal alliance will allow us to work together without having to deal with the cost of cementing an actual alliance. House Draconis is a mining/building corp and we have some resources at our disposal. Out of 21 members, we currently have 7 players from San Antonio and 1 from Houston. We are hoping to build relationships with other corps that are advantageous to both sides. Look me up in the game and letÆs talk about a new venture together.
IÆd also like to take this opportunity to invite all other Texans to remember House Draconis should they be looking for another corp to call home. Our infrastructure is one that allows our players to group together based on their interests and/or friendships. Again look us up, if nothing else, I can guarantee, youÆve made another Texan ally.

Austin here, only about six months in state though.
Good to see so many of us here. Will definitely have to check the channel some time. Anyone else catch the Texas oriented corp too? Name escapes me atm...
