i quit eve my account goes down in december i thought it conttreld my life to much i need the puplics votte say yes if i should dloload the next patch and start playing again say no if i should should gust drop it offers would make me stay with eve

I find Eve a bit life sucking as well. I wish I'd never bought the bloody game tbh. Its all I really play

Anyways, just think, if it wasnt so good as to make you play all the time you would be moaning it is boring !

Thing is I always liked WWII type games like IL2, MOHAA etc and now this has turned me.
I don't even know if I enjoy playing the game I just feel compelled to.

 ok so even if i were to go back to eve what would i do i dont even have a cusiser and i only have 1mil isk 700,000 some thing skill points

Hey,
If you do decide to go back. I would suggest finding a good minning corp. They could help you make 1mil every couple of hours. You would be back up and running in no time.

I only have 800K skill points and 800K isk (ok I have a crusier) and if you come back I'll quiet happily mine with you (my R/L mate Pudder) just started on Saturday we've already got him up adn running in a torment with 2 mining lasers several new skills and about 200K isk

There has been a time in everyones Eve experience where they havent had many skill points and not much money, you can only improve on this by getting back in there and working your way up. Joining a good corp really improves things and helps you along and as you progress things do get more interesting.

hmmmmm, cant see this game taking over your life as much as mohaa unless you were never in a clan. Games like mohaa (and almost any fps) you have to constantly play to keep your form up, with EVE you just fly around making money doing your skills thinking about what your gonna do next. This game has'nt taken up my life anywhere near as much as mohaa used to because if you wanna go out you just leave a skill training, even if your not on the PC your still progressing which is what i like the most about EVE. 
But there is one thing i've noticed about EVE, its VERY hard to progress on your own. I was lucky that i meet someone from my old mohaa clan on the first day i played and he took me through everything, let me join his corp, gave me 2 ships and god knows how much isk from the corp wallet to get some skills so getting started has been pretty easy for me. If i was left to my own devices i'd probably still be floating around in that tin can they give you at the start of the game.

i'm leaving just now (today) because it's controlling to much of my life - my account goes out in december too, but i think it's worth it, i could have much more fun doing other things, that's what you have to decide:
will you have more fun doing other things or playing eve? and.. will this take away from things you have to do? (like school/work/other crappy RL stuff)
eve online is a game, have fun |

Games such as eve can really take up a lot of time and even cause issues with relationships. It can also cause you to be late for work the next morning because you stayed up to late.
I found my self in this postion and ended up forcing my self to take a week off from eve. When I came back I came back gradually and I set some boundrys.
This is and other games simular are quite addicting.
You have to look at your life and decide how much time you can spend in eve and not adversly impact it. You may decide that you put a limit of only playing eve for 3 hours a night. You may say that You will only play for certain days of the week for a max of 4 hours each.
For myself, I make most of my money with isk mining. So When I get to work, i log in, and mine for about 6 hours. and keep it minimized. When i get home I paly for 4-5 hours. at midnight i set up for afk mining. Well I only mine one indi full afk mining at night.
But I set my times as well, i don't play active on wednesday and sundays. (tho today hehe a little differnt it's raining hard outside so i dind't have mcuh else to do).
I am still going to cut down on my time a bit more as well.
And I try to set things up so that i am the most prodcutve while the time that i spend online.
HOpe this gives a little inside.
