Im posting this more for information as a whine, as lots of people seem not to know about this. Would appreciate an official sticky being put up with "DONT UNDOCK IN A COVERT OPS THEY ARE USELESS" if possible.
Currently cloaking devices are bugged. If someone starts locking you and you cloak before the lock is final (when you should be able to) the lock finishes, and you are still viewable on everyones overview. To you however, you will appear cloaked.
This has cost several friends covert ops ships and cloaks. I know what people are going to say, "Just petition it!!!". Thats all well and good, but I know of at least one person who lost a faction fitted arazu with most of the fitting falling into the can.
So yeh, please make this nice and viewable so people know please CCP

yeah sure, they are totally useless. way to sound rediculous
grow some balls and fly a real ship.

Wow I dont know where to start with this.
1/ HI ALT. "grow some balls" yourself and post with your main.
2/ You are right, a cloaking ship that doesnt cloak ISNT USELESS AT ALL.
3/ Ridiculous.
4/ Its called punctuation.
5/ How is a faction fitted recon not a "real ship", am I perhaps imagining it.

I realise it is a known issue, I am simply suggesting that it be posted in a sticky here so the casual reader will know, as most people I talk to seem to have no idea till they experience it. The BPO/BPC thing was made a news item, I dont see why this cant. |

Your ship appears cloaked but your mod shows its not activated? Watch your mod. Sucky workaround to a sucky bug, but not too big a deal.
