Yeah pirates kill and ransome but lets just think about a few things here. (btw i am a pirate  )
Lets imagine the apparent 'Better pirate-less eve'
Without pirites :
Low sec would no longe pose the threat that it does, and i knwo being blown up isnt exactly fun hwo boring would ur life eb if u said oh a mission in low sec, oh but only miners go there so i'm ok, theres no exitment,
plus pvpers would ahev to arraneg freindly pvp with people, where as if u go into a low se system lookign for pvp and theres a pirate there, bam pvp.
and wihtout pirates there would be no dark side to the galaxy , think about it.
who agrees with me?

I've been blown up and poded a many times. That being said life without pirates would suck. What I'd like to see is pirates actually open convo and ask you for a ransom, or maybe even kill your ship and not pod you. I see no point in podding someone in a shuttle other then being an ass.
