I'm kinda new here so please do not yell if i posted this in the wrong places. But i wanna know how to tell if a corperation is a evil corperation. Everybody i talk to says that band of brothers are super evil, but from what i can tell, peeps just say that because they act like bullies, so do they act like pirates players or are they just so BIG that they pretty much do what they want?
I want to know how to tell who pirate or not, i'm told the sec status in not a good way of looking
please help

well ther pretymuch the greatest alliance in eve
and they won Both CCP Made EVE Tornaments
and well they dont really have much corps in them at all only like 6 or somthign,
and well they could take over eve if they wanted to :P

not evil per se. all depends on perspective.
i don't think they're evil, anyways, just well-organised and effective, with a unique set of goals that are primarily structured towards fun and good fights  |

They are big, rich and they are good at the PvP thingie, really good but not OMGWTFBBQ-Insta-pop good as people think. Even BoB bleeds.

"Evil" isn't the right word. "Ruthless" is more like it.

BoB is one of the major alliances in Eve, perhaps the major alliance. Not the largest but with their rate accretation of experienced players from other corps and alliances, the self discipline their pilots are willing to accept and the level of tactical organisation they can thus achieve; their significant industrial wing, and their close relationship with the only real threat to them, Mercenary Coalition, they are the force to be reckoned with.
Super Evil? no, just arrogant, ruthless and manipulative; Bullies? perhaps, though enough people seems quite willing to accept their ball gag to either exist as a serf under BoB control or a meatshield on their borders; Pirates? probably no more than any other 0.0 entity.
As for identifying pirates youÆre correct that sec status is a poor guide, better to treat anyone you meet in low sec and 0.0 with extreme suspicion, as it doesnt take that long to regain sec status if you have access to 0.0. When operating in such environments you need to be alert and prepared to cope with any threats that arise e.g. being aligned and ready to warp out to a safespot should some unknown pilot turn up in local.

Thankyou gentleman, as you can see there has been a lot of topics about prat/pirating/just plain evil and such, as a character who likes to RP i kinda went overboard with the "damsel in distress" routine in my origional post, but no worries, most of you knew that i was a noob anyhoo.

BoB are a bunch of people who are highly powered because they use their CCP mains to hax the game and give them everything.
SirMollie is Ovuer, Blacklight is Tux, and j0sphine is Kieron.
Evolution is where the other higher-ups like Clover and GM Ender have their mains, with BNC being other gneeric CCP staff, and DICE are really ISD.

So there's this guy who really really likes Brigitte Bardot. His wife decides to get him a... different sort of birthday present and has Brigitte Bardot's initials tattooed on her backside. BoB are teh uber mining alliance! Scourge of teh roids! It actually stands for "Bane of Belts".
More accurately, they are an alliance who are big, powerful, well organised, dedicated, feared and prone to forum assaults.
It is probably not the best idea to get on the wrong side of them, though I think their fear rating is a bit over-rated.

People say they are evil because they suck and can't beat them at what they do. It sounds harsh, but it's true.
