first of, great job on the industry UI, and thanks for iterating improvements! its appreciated
I'm a small fry indy with just one alt whose task is to try to pay for its plex each month with minimal time investment;
As a result my playstyle is nomadic/leecher. i have a small stack of blueprints, and when i want to make something, i sit in jita and try to find the cheapest spot for this item within short range of Jita.
As a result; i first look into the list of available teams, and try to check if the ones with the best ME would give me a nice enough discount to lower the cost index;
Basically a team with x ME bonus more or less lower the effective system cost index by x%
when i found a good team in an affordable location, i put my blueprint and ore in my sexy kryos and go build there.
The UI is not perfect for that;
Go ahead, try this workflow (ie first pick a team in team tab then find a facility in the same system); i ll wait ....
Ok do you see the issue ?
When you pick a team ,there is no easy way to know the system cost index, or even if the system contains facilities I can use;
So i need to switch to the facilties tab after selecting my team.
I cannot copy directly the system name inthe search box.
When i am in the facilty tab, even though i selected the team, there is no reminder of the system it came from. so i need to try to memorize the first few letters of the system an put it in the filter in the facility tab, and then maybe realize there is no public manufacturing facilties here.
I never noticed before the crazy spelling of the EVE system names, with systems starting with iy, iy, unless its ii, vaan, or van; was it kh or hk or kk, etc.... slight dyslexya doesnt help
So proposals:
- manufacturing cost index of the system in the tooltip in the team tab
- team location on tooltip on the selected team on top of the blueprint (there is already the useless team name)
- the bees knee: when you right click on a team, an menu option to switch to facilities tab with a filter for this system
while we are at it; why not the reverse, ie when right clicking on a facilty a right click option to go to team tab filtered for this system
also something that been bugging me. why not an industry tab in 'show system info' with all the cost index and available indy activities ?
