had just been buying a tons of Cruiser-missiles
and torpedos - witch i left in hangar.
Jumped into a belt with my Raven and 4 Megabeam
hunting for NPCs to make some more money for
some more torps, jumped into the belt and all
i got to see was a "dual 5xSpawn" right under
my nose - then node crash, came back
in a pod  .
Had just been spending all my funds buying
CL-5 booster and lots of other modules , and
the Raven called "Loki" had been mine for
about 1 week.
Im not gonna petition this cause we all know it
wont do sh*t and no matter how much i whine
it wont get me my ship back - ohhh also
lost the can with my "leftovers".
Since im not a lazy player and prefer to be
a lonewolf my problem is now to find someplace
where i can mine Bistot and Crokite in my
MOA without the fear of losing another darling
of mine to a CTD or Nodecrash.
If anyone can help me with a system-name for getting bistot and Crokite for a new Battleship
i would greately appreciate it.

Trust me - petitions for this stuff do nothing to get your ship back.
The only solution is to not be in a belt when servers are this unstable. Mine plag or do traderuns, but do not go hunting...

I strongly recommend that you file a other category petition. We do not reimburse for lag deaths unless there is something up with the servers, but with node crashes we are more lenient as that is a quite different matter. I can't promise you anything but it could be worthwhile. Just send in a good description of how, where and when this happened and we'll investigate your case.

How did a 10 npc spawn kill your raven in 2 minutes?
BTW
The moment you are ctd, log in as an alt, this will take your ship out of space, thus cutting the time you are being hit by npc quite dramatically. Might save you next time.

Loggin in an alt doesn't do that for me. Was getting shot up by concord outside our HQ the other day (don't ask). Logged out and back in as alt, exited station to watch my ship get destroyed and see my main char sitting there in a pod.

I petitioned on a node loss with exact time and place and got a reply saying how upsetting it was, but no returned ship.
Don't expect anything back, the main point in petitioning is to let CCP know they have a problem

Not insured? Well, that's bad :(
My rule of thumb: Don't go to places where you might risk loose your ship unless you got your insurance to get in to a new ship quick.

I just found out that, although I paid 3.56M for insurance on 5th October for my Scorpion, the insurance tab doesn't feature when I do "Show Info" on my ship and neither does it appear on the Insurance screen.
The 3.56M transaction is visible in my wallet, though, so I'm hoping my petition will be resolved quickly.
Can anyone say "nervous flier"?
