This issie is NOT about Drone Control Modules !
Its about drone control itself. 
After last patch I have some really nasty issues with drone control.
how to reproduce the bug:
1. lock target
2. release the drones from dronebay to space
3. left click on "drones in space", hence, select them all
4. click on pictogram "engage target"
5. Result - despite multiply selection, only ONE drone starts to execute the command. Others just peacefully orbit around you.
Another issues - no any other command work as well in that way except "return to drone bay"
Workarounds:
1. select EACH drone separately and issue a command. - unacceptable delay.
2. instead of clicking on pictogram, use context menu when right-clicking on "drones in space" - then everything is ok. BUT, it means 2 clicks instead of just one.
Any comments ?

I've had a couple drones tack their way back to my ship, flying a short distance, dodging right (in unison), flying forward again, rinse and repeat.
Was actually faster to fly to them in my domi than it was to wait for them.

I've been having this too along with the not returning to drone bay problem again. Seems like many of the drone bugs are back. At least they aren't shooting my gang mates though.

as the good people from a certain game i use to play would say "im sorry this is working as intended" lucky for us they didnt make eve maybe ccp will tell you something if you look hard enough?
if the drones start humping each other target a roid tell them to attack then call them back to orbit

i have always right clicked and engaged which still works like a charm..
return to drone bay (right click) also works like 99% of the time, however, my logistics drones (light and med armour rep drones) don't use mwd when returning (tried from 90+ km to see if it was tru with a corp ceptor... sigh)
- All the stuff above does not necessarily reflect my corp, my alliance or even me
- Pure drone user... give us a mini carrier and faction Typhoon and Dominix please |

Actually drones have been acting better for me since the last few patches. I still have the odd drone that will not attack with I say so, but after I tell them a few times they do it.
What is really good is that the return to drone bay command is actually working! I no long have to chase down drones to get them back! So what ever CCP is doing to the drones, I am all in favor of it.

As Miri said, drones seem to be working much better after the last few patches.
Chuck: make sure you put your drones in groups, and select the drone group to give commands instead of selecting drones in space.
