Thanks to "Tank CEO" and "J3tt" and some others on the Chaos server late last night [my time] I got to be the target as well as their damned source of entertainment. Not that I thought there were any serious game bugs to the level they must have been concerned about - I mean someone with 3x-4x the skill points I have now on Chaos should be able to kill me pretty quickly regardless of which ship I happened to be piloting and sure enough... they wasted the BlackBird I was in while I was trying to dock and then they tried but failed to pod me since by then I was really close to the station in PF-346. Then they easily wasted the Megathron I was in next... my only source of amusement was the fact that I was able to warp to a nearby system to put insurance on the Megathron before it was wasted so now I at least got over 110m isk on Chaos - like that matters to anyone.
Look, I am all for people getting to get their jolly's and all in this game but there is a reason I stick to empire space on Tranquility - I realize I could be esily killed due to my lack of skills, Duh ! It doesn't take a genius to figure this one out... Heck I don't even have enough skill points to mount a Large Hybrid turret let alone try to counter the Tachyon Beams "Tank CEO" and "J3tt" and some others were using on me last night !
Well now it has been confirmed... any player who has less than 30% of your total skill points can be very easily killed in-game ! Duh ! Was there ever any doubt about this fact ? Hmmm...
All the while there was a GM on Chaos laughing it up with his buddies who were doing all the killing... This all wasted only 90 mins of my valueable time... no real loss there, right ? - lol
BTW, in the real game I own something like 8 ships [frigates, cruisers and one Dominix] and only lost one little Thorax due to my own stupidity although I quickly replaced that ship with 2 more like it... I ain't butt-ugly stupid enough in the real game to go wandering about in places where "Tank CEO" and "J3tt" and some others might be playing so why do I have to run into these jerks on Chaos where I do like to test some new modules and stuff in keeping with the "real" purpose for Chaos's existance, or so I thought until last night... - lol
Get a grip folks, YOU are only allowed to be in-game so jerks like "Tank CEO" and "J3tt" and some others can use YOU for target practice meanwhile YOU slave away to make them richer ! - lol

... There's (or at least used to be) rule for Chaos server -- all possible fights done there must be consentual, if one wants to fight someone they need to ask that person for the permission.
Failing to obey that rule can get one banned from the Chaos. If it happens to you again... *shrugs* well, it's up to you what you do about it.

Hmmm, that sucks - HOWEVER:
As I understand it, PVP combat is "supposed" to be voluntary only by the two parties. That's what I've always heard/complied with.
Second, if a GM is sitting there laughing it up, and you didn't agree to go PVP with Tank or J3tt, then there's something seriously wrong there. Although that doesn't surprise me, Polaris personnel are taken from the player community.
The flip side to this, and the reason I'm sure we're both about to get flamed is that you died on the Chaos server -- not really a big deal if you ask me. If you own several ships on Tranquility, you should also own them on Chaos. Sorry you lost your ship, but be glad it was on Chaos rather than Tranq. In a week or two, another mirror will be done and that'll be the end of it.

1) All combat on Chaos must be consensual. 2) Any non-permission fight will have the aggresser first, removed from Fight Club 3) Continued violations will cause account to be banned from Chaos
These are Redundancy's rules. If somebody violates them, tell HER, and watch the ****ers cry. Eat My Shorts! |

*checking this out*
PS. joining the "Fight Club Co" will allow you to replace any items you lost.
I could do with the name of the person you thought was a GM so that I can find out about that too (since they aren't going to be involved in the combat logs). Please email that to me (email is in my signature).

The GM (text typed by him/her was in Red) was named "BH something" - sorry but I didn't write it down... The time was roughly 11p PDT (GMT -8) until roughly 12:30a PDT - the Chaos server logs should have all the details for ya.
Wish I could be more help... On the positive side, I did manage to warp out at one point and put Premium Insurance on the Megathron before it was turned into dust by 2 far more skilled players than I - I may have managed toasted one of their ships before my Megathron was vaporized... we can only hope - lol.
Just for the record they wasted 2 ships - a BB and a Megathron - both cost me nothing but 90 mins of my wasted time and I ended up with 110m isk due to having had insurance on both ships.

You didnt actually say you complained about anything though to any BH, including the one laughing. Did you do that? ____________________________________ Taggart wants YOU. Join TTi! *waves his hand in your face in the jedi way* |

I don't waste my time while playing EVE by using the chat interfaces - lol !
Anyway, even if I had "complained" it would not have resulted in anything other than what I got which was MY wasted time !

Eeek. Well then you are right to be staying in secure empire while on Traquility. The map and local are the only things keeping a solo pilot alive in 0.0...

IMHO - Any IDIOTS willing to go into 0.0 space with any thing less than 5.5m skill points is just looking to be pod-killed - lol !
"Tank CEO" and "J3tt" taught me this lesson the easy way - on Chaos !
Me thinks I will remain patient in Empire Space and gain max skill points across the board before even thinking about going into the "wild west" of EVE - hehe.
And besides, so far EVE does not compell me to go into 0.0 space for any reasons whatsoever - after about 2 months in-game I have moved into a 0.6 system however I someties hunt in 0.4 systems - loot drops are all the same as far as I can see except for the 1/1000 item such as a Cu Vapor Bore that dropped in a nice safe 0.8 system. Call me boring but it only took me 2 months to get my first BS and I don't intend to lose it through being "stupid" ! - hehe.

Ok. I think this is going to have to be a "chalk it up to experience" example, and I'll go through the rules and procedures as well as some other information that appears you've missed.
PF-346 is the home of FCC (Fight Club Co) on Chaos. At planet 1 there is a station, where almost all items in the game are available from the FCC hangars, for free, in their thousands. Items on the server are therefore (as well as through the occasional copy from Tranquility) worthless.
Within PF-346, there is one golden rule:
You must agree to combat with someone before you engage in it, and you must agree specifically if pod-killing is to be involved.
Willful failure to ask people can and will result in varying measures being taken, which can be anything from having your ship dropped a very long way from FCC up through a few other things to temporary and permananent bans from the test server.
In order to ensure the fair enforcement of these rules, you must complain to the person attacking you if they do so without your consent [follow it up with a complain by eve-mail, since they're easier to track down in the database], and if available, complain to a BH present at the time. This will allow us to get involved and remind everyone about those rules, and the consequences of breaking them.
If it continues, email me and I'll track down who and how the rules are being broken, and make certain that the consequences of abusing what we are providing are felt.
In this case, I've seen the names of the people involved in the destruction of your ship, and I consider this post a fair warning. However, you must make sure that you help us to help you by complaining to a BH who is there at the time if it is possible, and it helps if you complain to your attackers by evemail after that.
Hope this helps and explains things fully.
