After looking at the first couple of pages of the General Discussion forum and seeing nothing but whines and people berating CCP for one reason or another, I thought I'd make this topic for a change of pace...
CCP is Awesome! They brought us EVE, I mean... How much more could you really ask for!? Plus, they are icelandic, get drunk a lot, and are generally a good bunch of people!

good work CCP on several fronts im just trying to think what they are atm. Less lag only because markets rae borked but good start

Agreed, people need to lighten up a little.
I probably would feel different if any of the bugs stopped me playing the way I want to play..
....but they don't.....

CCP is awesome, but they are still human, and make a lot of mistakes...
Less mistakes than other MMO companies, but they are not without fault, neither are any of us...

It definently helps to do some real life stuff with your days... it puts these forums into perspective. :)

Agreed, they also
listen to what people say (sometimes)
have decent customer support, especially when compared to other MMORPG's
give free content upgrades
particpate with their client base
are nice people - anyone remember when winterblink got sent a free signed poster after his accident ?
have designed the most fully capable space combat/trading simulation
and
their icelandic and get drunk a lot of course

Just adding my admiration of CCP to this thread, to create a full universe is quite an achievement! As for the whining/*****ing/flaming that goes on on here, if people had the common sense and basic level of intelligence to realise how awkward that makes CCP's life, they'd stop doing it. A few concise threads with notification of bugs found, and if applicable, constructive comments pertaining to a solution would help the devs immensely I bet.
P.S. As my token bit of constructive chat, with regards to CCP finding out what players what improved/added/changed/etc, why not some form of ingame form that all players could be notified of in an Evemail? 1->5 rating sort of thing. Just an idea.

Just imagine what EVE would be like if it were ran by SOE!
Take this as an example!
Imagine RMR being released with command ships etc, but no seeded skillbooks and the promise ot the books through agent offers that never arrive!
CCP are the best MMO company out there!

Having played many mmo's I have to say that CCP treat us subscribers more adult like than any of the others.
Of course there's always going to be problems with customer service, and I wonder how much of that is due to the customer not having a clue or being unreasonable, but in reality they are pretty good.
An example.
I've had NTL Broadband for about 5 years now and in all that time I've had about 2 days without the internet. When the internet has gone down I am moaning like buggery and very unhappy with NTL. Thats me being unreasonable and not apprechiating all the years of no interuption.
I'd never work in customer service, I'd be sacked in the first hour.

they brought us the new patch for eve 2 = eve offline  its better than eve online because u dont do anything and have time for RL

que system is very bad for the game. fix it.
eve is a cool game, but we already use way to much time ingame already beeing passive.

all MMO have lag ( i have played daoc ao wow swg gw )
eve have a good CSR and a good work on the stuck petition
from all my petitions ONLY 1 petition get more that 1 week to be solved
and eve have a good game balance imo

Yes i agree that EVE is the best space game ever, MMO or no MMO.

Good work CCP.Congrats! 
Though there are some mistakes (hey... only humans right? :) ), the general product is extremely good and you should be proud of what you've done and continue to do.
