When nodes pass 95% load this also triggers the queue, which explains why some systems that have 40 people in have a queue. That could be the node with jita on it or some fleet battle in 00. -=====-

This makes the game completely unplayable IMHO. I've spent 8min trying to jump into Oichiya when I was #2 in the queue? I don't whine often but this will destroy the game

Was I the only one to realise that the patch that was scheduled for friday but is now due tomorrow was created to specifically fix just this issue?
From the looks of things apparently so.

1. You select Jump, 2. The CCP Hardware decides it can't deal with yet another player, so it...
3. Starts your jump (making you SAFE and taking you OFF the map)... 4. The star gate plays your disassembled ship hold music until you arrive at the other end. It also gives you an estimated time of arrival updated every 60 seconds.
If you log or your machine crashed during (4) you re-join hyperspace when you login.

I will say it didnt seem broken before that I knew of, so I am not sure why they implemented it.
At first i was like hey neat little RP thing for buisy systems, but after taking 35 mintues to get into jita to get my ship i changed my mind, as well as being que'd for systems with less than 50 people... Alot of pain for those caught on que's who also got jumped by a war party at a gate who expected to be able to jump...

It is a bad idea IMO. You shouldnt get caught at the gate. They should at least take you out of system and stick you on a loading screen instead of staying there with 20 people behind you. I would personally just log out if I was being chased and got stuck on a gate.

Went away for the weekend and hoped this would be sorted by the time I got back. . . Obviously not. I've said it before:

This login queue thing really proves to me how much CCP has lost touch with their game. Really makes me second-guess the amount of time I invest in the game as it really seems to be getting worse and worse.
