EVE Guardian would like to make it clear to all Corporations, and in particular all Alliances, that it has not, does not and will not ever reveal its sources to anybody for any reason or under any duress.
Furthermore, whilst we are always happy to accept submissions of news we do not take any notice of Alliances telling us how to print our news or what to print as news.
The editorial policy of EVE Guardian has been clearly stated in the past.
We have no ties to any Corporation, industry, research or exploration service or company.
We make no modules or ships.
We do not trade.
We do not explore.
We do not sell servies or information of any kind.
Our sole income is that from sponsorship/advertising of which 100% goes to funding sporting or social events within EVE.

Individuals, Corporations or Alliance that seek to deliberatly sow disinformation via us will be subject to exposure of such as we see fit, although even in these extreme circumstances we will still withold sources.
EG strongly advices Alliances (and Corporations) to promote a "single point of contact" (SPOC) or other official PR or spokesperson to act on their behalf if they wish to be represented by an individual on an "official" basis.
In any event EG is not restricted in who it gathers news from or who it accepts submissions from.
Should members of a Corporation or Alliance submit information to us we will use it as we see fit.
No Alliance or Corporation can dictate to us what we can and cannot use... and let us be crystal clear on that issue:
We can not be dictated to by any force within EVE, either on what we cover or how we cover it.
Remember that your membership is free to, and probably does, supply EVE Guardian with information.
Be careful what your therefore try to "dictate" to us as "the truth" from "Your side"... especially if your own members, and member corporations, are telling us otherwise in other submissions.
You know who you are.
We do not feel we should need to repeat ourselves on this matter and this is our only comment on the issue.
