When I first started doing Level 3 missions a few months ago I'd heard that Portal to War 2/5 was very tricky, particularly because both rooms were very tough and varied between Caldari in the first room and Amarr in the 2nd.
When I did them, however, I found out that while the first room was tough, it was doable, and the second room was populated only by a few ships and sentry guns. No problem.
Lately, however, it seems that the deadly version is back, with two large groups of high-damage cruisers in addition to the sentry guns. To make matters worse, the cruisers don't appear on the overview! My well-tanked Brutix died in seconds.
So caveat emptor.

Not being a Brutix Pilot I cannot advise you but I have completed it twice in the last two days in a Ferox both times in 25 mins.
Did not find the last room to taxing although bit of a pain with the various ships not appearing in the overview.

after last patch a whole bunch of ships like "Gallente Mission Frigate" and other "mission" ships do not appear in the overview. You need to manually add them in the overview settings.

Midst of Deadspace 4/5 is also back to working like it should, and I bet Enemies Abound is too.
A little trick for adding "mission" ships is to use your scanner...do a 20k+ 360 scan before warping into the last room (and don't have the scanner checkbox set to Overview Settings) and right click the ships showing up there and add them to overview. It's also a good idea to use the scanner beforehand just to see how many rats are in the last room.

I'm glad the amarrian's are back in the second room. The only problem I have now with this mission is the TWO HOUR delay until the reinforcement fleet turns up. This is two hours from when you enter the deadspace, not as the briefing says two hours from when you accept the mission. Thats a long time to sit around. Though I do like the make up of the fleet now, HAC's and Battlecruisers with bounties no less
So some good points, some bad points I guess

Sure was
The new fleet is not all HAC's and BC's there are some battleships as well, but no interceptors (or if they are ceptors they have crap mwd).
I'll have another go at this lot and get a list .. not helped by the fact that all the ships from frigates to bs's only have the cruiser icon.

Heres the list of the reinforcement ships, its still in three waves and theres a lot of damage if you are up close to them.
4 x Divine Imperial Napet - 23,625 isk - Malediction 2 x Imperial Templar Mathura - 68,438 isk - Omen 1 x Imperial Templar Agatho - 88,125 isk - Maller 2 x Imperial Avenger - 135,000 isk - Prophecy 2 x Imperial Justicar - 138,750 isk - Prophecy 4 x Divine Imperial Justicar - 270,000 isk - Zealot 1 x Divine Imperial Champion - 281,250 isk - Zealot 3 x Imperial Ultara - 543,750 isk - Armageddon 1 x Imperial Martyr -768,750 isk Armageddon 2 x Imperial Templar Torah - 881,250 isk - Armageddon 1 x Imperial Dominator - 912,500 isk - Armageddon 2 x Imperial Templar Ultara - 993,750 isk - Apocalyse
for a total of 9,290,751 isk. Which I think is less than what you used to get from the sale of the tags from the old fleet.
Oh and they are very tight with the loot, I've had only 2 cans each time I've done this and no named loot at all.
considering the length of time you have to wait for these guys I don't think its worth it.
