it won't happen any time soon. best bet is to use your favorite music player, ie winamp or wmp

It was possible a while ago as there was a program that did it for you.
Now I believe its against the EULA.

It was called "Playlist Generator". Good luck finding it or getting it to work if you do...
I just turn of the jukebox and use Winamp to listen to Eve-Radio

If ccp want's people to play with there audio on they should at least let us add music to the jukebox.Don't see how in-game voice i ever going to work if everyone always has it off.

It's an issue with MP3 licensing. and I agree, screw paying Thomson.

Then make it .OOG based.
Problem solved.

i believe that alot of them are in .oog
anyways i read in a dev post somewhere that it's not a problem with mp3 licensing, but the audio player licensing... EvE-CCG Spoiler Database |

That is the official solution.
Modifying the eve client, even in this minor way, is a breach of the EULA.

I think it'd be neat if they'd allow you to stream Eve Radio through the jukebox.
Not really necessary, probably cause some lag issues (who knows), but still, it'd be a nice feature.

Once again, Winamp prevails.
I'd rather not have CCP wasting time and resources doing something that another free piece of software I have installed anyway does already, and probably better.
Incidentally, this is why I don't buy CCP's VOIP plan, and under no circumstances will I pay to use it as a client.

Edited by: Sky Marshal on 31/08/2006 22:31:55 Hum at least, CCP can create an option to stop TOTALLY the music.
Same with the volume set at 0 and the music stopped in the jukebox, if I go in an encounter (battle), the music restart... So I have to stop him again, until the next encounter where it will restart...
I already waste 5% of my CPU for foobar2000 ^^, so I don't need that Eve Online waste 5% for the inaudible music ^^

of course, if you want to try the Reverse (take music from Eve and have it in playlists with your favorite tracks) I think EvE-Files.com has just about Every lil scrap of audio goodness hosted.. if I could remember where..
