currently set up with a 5 blaster thorax
1 mwd 2 cap booster
2 hardener 1 med rep cap flux and dmg mod
when i am under fire and have to run the repper i just suck up cap.. thus i can only stay out untill i run out of cap booster charges.
any suggestions on how i can get my cap usage under better control as i cant imagine 2 cap booters is the most effective solution

I am only going off my experience in a 2xNeu blaster, 1x rocket, 1xnos tristan.
Get in close and use the nos to help keep your cap going.

Ditch the flux for a cap relay, but the thorax is a damage boat so the idea is to overpower your targets tank b4 he can make your cap an issue, you can tank it but not very well imho.

Train up Cap Skills (Energy Management, Energy Systems Operation) and Controlled Burst (lower cap use on guns).
Could also plug in a Cap Injector.

I dont own a blaster thorax but eventually will. Most setups I have seen include 1xnos for close up fighting.

Qft Thorax is for Wtfbbq damage imo vexor fills the tank role much better while retaining damage

yep i have two magstab IIS on my thorax, who needs to tank when your doing bbq damage.

Try a 800mm plate, 2 energized nanos, and 2 mag stabs. Forget the repper. With your blasters + drones you'll be doing over 600dps.

I generally run
5 Ions
MWD,Web,Scram
MARII,2 x Magstab II, RCU, damage control
bbq's a lot of stuff, esp with T2 Ions and Void (Null for ceptors)

i have ion setup... dont need RCU tho :P
