a ship with hardners towards the different damage types involved. If you know Angels do mostly EM and Thermal, and you mount an EM and a Thermal hardner, then you will tank fairly well and reduce your need to repair due to taking less damage.
Different ships and racial lines of ships have "naturally" higher base resistances in their shields or armor towards different damage types, check the ship infos for that.
Ships with more midslots than lows are better shield tankers, ships with more lows than mids are better armor tankers...sorry if this is not the info or the level of info you seek.

Passive shield tanked, Invul field Dominix with large rails and warriors/valks/zerkers/bouncers does very well against Angels.
Rogue drones do mostly EM and Thermal, with a smattering of explosive and kinetic, so you generally only have to worry about buffing the main two, with a nod towards explosive, and some knowledge about which rogues do what, so you can take out the ones hitting your weaker resists first.

Actually, angels do mostly explosive and then mix of kinetic and thermal. Very little em.

I normally run against angels with 2 active Exp hardeners, 1 therm and 1 kin. worksnice for me.

The best thing for killing angels is what you dont want: a raven! But if you dont like missiles use a longrange shield tanked (1xinvu, 1xlarge or xl shield booster 1xlarge exteder) mega with 1 or 2 smartbombs for ebil frigates rest is pwned before it gets in range. Be ware of the saints tho, they are mean.

Hi Caldorous,
In my personal opinion minmatar bs are best against angels. They have good natural resist against them and they do very good damage against angels, especially machariel (which is angel ship actually) with acs filled with fusion works like a charm. (the mach also helps with ur gallente skills :)

in response to last poster take a look at the vindicator (also a gallente focused but also gets projectile bonuses) can armour tank and with minimal cap usage from projectles is quite effective.

The vindicator DOES NOT get projectile bonuses. It's a freaking shiny megathron that gets HYBRID bonuses.
And projectiles don't use cap.

As for how to use it for your case...
Put in a generic list of shield tanking ships on the left with plausible hardener choices and choose the L4 angel extravaganza or L4 Rogue drone harassment missions from the drop down list.
You may need to add the base shield resists for your non-caldari ships on the "Resistance" Tab

ok its a microwarp drive bonus then (minnie skills on the vindicator) that in itself is kinda not good for missions but good for PVP and NPCIng.
