was there any pvp in E&B?
i wish i had gotten a chance to play it, it looks pretty cool

There was technically PVP in ENB, but it was the polar opposite of PVP in Eve.
You had to go to a certain area for your level and jump into an arena type area.
When you won you got XP, and sometimes a quasi-lame item.
There was no real death penalty, if you got uber loot it stayed with you. (Something I miss quite a bit sometimes) 
But overall, PVP in ENB was more camping uber spawns or bringing more guns to do at least 51% damage to a Mob to get ownership of the "Can" for your corp.

Couldnt even finish my 30 day free trial in E&B when it came out. It was just awful IMO. It had every issue Eve did, and WoW, without any of the plusses.
Though it was nice to be able to walk around the station at least. Eve could use a little of that, though in a less limited and more entertaining way (phaser fights on the station concourse anyone?)

Actually while the wondering about the station was fun or a time, what i really wanted was to be able to buy things from the ship...
I really grew to dislike fighting through a crowd to find the interfaces to build stuff etc...

lol ur right brought back a lot of memories on the Pegasus server that i was on, played for 2 yrs there, miss parts of the game, that i wish eve had, but dont miss the lvling that you had to do, even with Eve's long training Queuse, i'll take it over any games lvling grindache

i remember the day i quit, i had been there for 5 months.
if you had an objectionable name the GM's would replace it with "spacechrysanthymum" or some other BS.
well after 5 months of grinding and training my name was changed to a space flower.
and what was my uber offensive character name?
"fugue" apparently nobody running EnB owned a dictionary.
the saddest part is that during the 6 months prior i had several discussions with other GM's and none of them found it offensive.

Well if you would like to watch the intro movie to Earth and Beyond, I ripped it from my EnB install CD, and converted it into .avi.
