The mating ritual of the Brutix
From the far flung reaches of the universe they converge, drawn by a primal instinct to mate. The Solari Constructs are nothing compared to raging fires that roar within the mexallon tritanium alloy hulls of these beasts. Recently conservation groups have been worried about the decline in numbers of these fine creatures, the ice fields that they once used as their nurseries are diminishing. However, conservationists are pleased this year; numbers of Brutix recorded are up 20%.
The Gallente based conservationist group ôBlue peaceö issued this statement: ôAlthough we are pleased with the significant rise of Brutix recorded this year, and we hope that this will be a continuing trend. We are concerned that this apparent success will detract from other environmental issues; ASCNs reckless mining operations in the south, the continued use of highly polluting MWDs and Afterburners. ô
The mating ritual of the Brutix is strange; however as with all species, it is somewhat messy. The Brutix flock to the Solari Constructs, from here they spread out to neighboring moons and begin the copulation. A male Brutix can eject up to 1157 units of Megacyte in the act of activating the fertilization module of a female. When mating both Brutix shut all sensors except close proximity sensors (1000m), this is a fact that is preyed upon by the unscrupulous. The Megacyte ejected by the male Brutix at climax is highly valuable.
Istvaan Shogaatsu has his headquarter located nearby and is also known to be responsible for the hiring of mercenaries to illegally hunt Brutix, no certain links can be established so he cannot be prosecuted. Istvaan himself is known to enjoy the exotic drink ôMegacytiö that has as a key component; Brutix ejected Megacyte.
Many say that Brutix are highly intelligent creatures and this is the reason we should preserve them. Scientists from ISS; who recently destroyed a remote Brutix colony through the building of a POS, claim that: ôThere is nothing inside a Brutix, structural or otherwise that is intelligent.ö
In the interest of balance we decided to interview a Brutix hunter, this is what one had to say:
ôI will have no man in my boatàthat is not afraid of a Brutix. IÆve seen a Brutix pull a ship into a sun while the crew tried to disengage the tractor beam, arr, sorry sight it was. I wonÆt try and justify meself, little Meziah needs to be put through University of Caille School, thatÆs allö
Concord has just made this statement: ôWe understand that many are concerned with the plight of the Brutix, this is why we intend to set up the IARS (Interstellar Animal Rights Service)ö
This reporter is skeptical about the speed with which the IARS will be setup; they have enough trouble with traffic calming measures and pirates at the moment.
Next week, I will be reporting on the new hood ornament fashion that is sweeping Minmatar.

Brutix Hotline!
Is your Brutix feeling sad and lonely? Does it float listlessly in space, rocking from side to side?
Perhaps it needs a partner!
Call 1-800-BRUTIX-ME now, and we'll give your Brutix a good time.
...on the other hand using a banana might be a viable alternative.

First thought: "Man, I'd farm that and get so rich..."
Second thought: "wait... ewwwwwww"

I hadn't come across this accomplished documentary before, thank you. I must point out that the documentary displays the mating habits of the Dominix; Brutix and Dominix although alike, can be distinguished not only by their colour but the absence of a tail in the Dominix genus.
