Is anything going to be done about the Super roids now affecting alot of the belts in Eve. Not only is it a pain for mining but its also hard to think of the game as real (in a roleplaying way) when you see the roids merging and rotating together.

Try Edmalbrurdus, I think it's in the Heimatar region.

Try Bongveber in Metro.
You can't warp directly to any of the belts anymore because of giant roid bounce-fling.

Yeah.. If they don't fix this problem soon. The roids just might grow so large, that they take over the entire system.

Scordide is worst/biggest, but ok to mine.
We cleared some belts for scordite-plantes only to find veldspar-moons :(

Most of the systems have them from time to time. I actually was in a system were we strip belts very often...but somehow ? the next day only a few roids poped but the rest were the same <baby roids>
I got 7x Pyro roids, 120K each ! very usefull, all withing 12m of each other
cool bug thought

I see a low budget tv series possibility "when 'roids attack!" |

I know about several belts that is so big that they just spit you out again. Jump in, then get spit out again for a 5-10 min joyride at a very thrilling speed. Only way to get to them is by traveling to them manualy. (wich take time).
At the same time there is tons of belts that is mined out, and who contain nothing but tiny babyroids and who hardly regrow at all. Other places there is just massive veldespar and scordite roids piling up.
Mining is tedious as it is without have the asteroid belts being all buggered up.

People wanting to mine bugged "ejector" belts should warp to them first with a shuttle, which for whatever reasons doesn't seem affected by this bug. Then travel 20-30 KM away from the belt TOWARDS the place you will be warping in from (the station you will be hauling to is best) then make a custom BM.
Then go back, get a mining battleship and start cutting super Scordite. AFAIK this only works if you scout with a shuttle, and you have to use a BS to mine because the centre of many of these monster roids is so deep into the bugged belt that you can't "approach" close enough for cruiser targetting systems without getting bounced. Harvesters should also be used with caution in these belts, as they can get "thrown" too, and usually can't be recovered until after DT the next day.
One huge bonus of these setups is they're immune to ore thieves. They can't warp in without a custom BM, so can't rip you off.

Interesting about the shuttle...I mined a hive of these mega-roids in Sirppala by MWDing back in after being ejected 2000km out. I flew back until I could see the roids again and made a bookmark but even at the most extreme range where the graphics for the 'roids suddenly turned on (at the grid-boarder) I was still inside the 'roid at a range of -7000m. This was a result of the 'roid being over 500km across (bigger than the grid element containing it). It did mean that it was easy to mine however...
It was quite exciting travelling within the bowels of this mega-roid. You could see the smaller (50-200km radius) 'roids spinning about inside. Even going slowly though they would eventually get upset at your presence and spit you out.
Using drones was an interesting experience too...regardless of the apparant range to the target roid they flew directly away from the controlling ship to the maximum extent of their range (20k in this case) and mined from there. I think they were afraid of the size of the 'roids...

My experience was identical to this. In my Dominix I managed to defeat the 16 or so bugged massive roids and turn that belt in Colcer into a normal one full of Pyrox and Plag that hadn't been mined in months and were Huuugely full of ore.
Then I joined Oberon and went out to Venal to get back to *really* playing the game.
Hope someone stripped that belt for the hundreds of millions of Isk it was worth...
