Multiboxing isn't being banned. Running 40 characters all in identical ships doing the same exact thing x40 though ISBoxer is being banned.

My point was to show that this isn't just a better game but we get together better as a community. We got EVE into 3 categories it wasn't in before and we're the ones making the comments.

Not the right thread, but I'll post a reply here anyway. Boxing according to the EULA is perfectly fine, which means having multiple instances of the game open and controlling them one by one. You can use software like ISBoxer to ease up the alt-tabbing, which is still allowed. The only thing that is not allowed is broadcasting or automation, which is simply a form of botting. In other words -> press one button on one instance, activate modules/movement on multiple instances or press one button on one instance, activate a sequence of actions in one or more instances. This is a violation, as it always has been. The only difference is that there will be consequences for this starting in 2015.

if i could just click, without looking over all my charaters and check that they're all correct locations, that they dont uncloak. that they are all there, that they are in an ok range, that they got module ready, that they got ammo ready, that that they allign/have ship correct way. And it's Sooo far from you saying it. and its not easy, not easy at all. and i just use 3 accounts. and i could imaging running 12. no, that is not easy. |
