I have a rattlesnake and to be honest i can not find a setup worth raving about.
Please could you recommend a good expensive/cheap setup i know it must be there somewhere. May be your the one who knows.

You should not dream of fitting a cheap setup, and you are going to need a couple of things as fixtures.
Gist X-type XL is vital, as are good BCU/PDUs in lows. Dread guristas BCUs will really help with your CPU.
Are you going for PvP or (shudder) PvE?

tbh is you have one and can't work out a good setup your really wasting this ship. Learn to fly a raven properly then jump in it and be outstanding

6 siege 2 , 2 x whatever you need
4 x t2 multispectral, 1 sensor booster, 1 20km disruptor
1 x 1600mm plate, med rep, 2 wcs, 2 bcu

I am using it for missions atm.
I know about 2x bcu and 4x power diag
mix of passive and active hardners and a shield amp and booster, i mean is that it. Im just having issues with angel, ships as i need all my resistances maxed.

For missions?
The worlds "OMGDIE" come to mind. DAMAGE, people, DAMAGE!
Can't see why you'd use a rattlesnake for missions anyway, the CNR is far superior.

Use the same setup as a raven but add a top named dcu in your extra low. You should also be using officer mods like gist boosters etc.
Top is all off with crystal implants and it's the ult mission whoring ship.

CNR is better for whoring missions.
A gist X- CNR or rattlesnake, especially with crystals, will have no issues tanking any of the missions, so the only target to attain is pure damage. CNR has 17% more damage than rattlesnake for the saume skills/ BCU numbers, so it is a better choice.
You can fit enough BCUs to max out on the stacking on the CNR with ease, so you have no problems.

Call me a cynic but I have seen similiar setups running off ravens  , drop the wcs/plate to few up a low slot or two and your pretty much there. Theres nothing wrong with your setup itself I just feel if your going to be spending that kind of isk on a ship you got to go the whole way and put a faction/officer shield tank on as well.
Hopefully ecm will get sorted out and it wont need to be a must.

Weia...issues w. angels...in a rattlesnake....you make me cry...sry...
i don't have issues w. angels in a regular raven:
gist-XL, gist Ampli, 4 hardeners (T2/faction)
3 PDU 2, 2 BCU 2
Even with the lowest Gist modules (C-Type) you can easily run most missions 1/2 afk.

I'd help him myself, but I dont know the first thing about Caldari ships
