2 med remote armour reperers
4 cap rechargers
3 cargo expanders
4 med remote armour rep Bots
aim: to go about in hi sec looking for a couple month NPC corp player charater in a coveter then repping the rats that attack it with drones and long range reppers.
every barge to destroy will give you 0 to 3 strip miners.
possible to do this in a sheild repping osprey as well, although not quite as effective
EDIT: I fogot to say that it only works in 0.6 or 0.5 space, and does not work if the farmr is not AFK

heh i only used it once, when farmers where plaging the system i mine in. becuse they strip far to much astroids, and its not fair that they do it almost 23/7 and I have to move system becuse there are no roids left in the system i usually mine in

of course
i suppose this can work on procuror or retrevers in 0.7 to 0.8 space but i have ot seen a farmer in those types of barges yet. :( anyway, its good fun to see a barge get popped by some lowely 0.5/0.6 rats. plain funny

You could alway get a T1 battleship fully insure it fit smart bombs in the highs and as good a tank (cheap) that you can fit then go smart bomb the macro miners.

if you can do it and keep the rats in range of your sheild /armour rep, then yes. thats why the exe and osprey excell becuse they can rep at long ranges

because the rats (are there even any?) would be to weak.
tried it in 0.8, and NO amount of remote tracking boosting brought the angel to pop the macroer.
but it leads me to my input:
mix a shield drone in, and throw out a recharger or two for a remote tracking link :P

I used to do this trick! I used a Vexor, 2x med Remote reppers and NOS (2x med and 1x small) in the hi's, 1x med cap battery and 2x cap recharger in the mids, 4x cap power relays in the lows, plus medium armour repper drones.
Theres not a flying chance in hell of keeping 2 remote reppers running very long even with the nos (NPCs don't need Capacitor to fight, so you can suck them dry as much as you like). So, Get together with a friend in a capacitor transfer cruiser, and you can keep going alot longer.
Works well against barges, but is somewhat slow going on Apocs and the like. The best you can hope for is that the rats you rep can eat away at the defending drones, then theyll be undefended long enough for the belt to respawn and really take them out.

Rats don't spawn in 0.9 and 1.0. Or at least I've neevr seen them.
