Edited by: Mik Nostrebor on 03/09/2006 22:51:29 Since the copying of whole regions probably will become unfeasable on Tuesday, I thought that there might be ways to economise and still provide useful solutions. To do that I need your help. I thought that I might make up special sets for major trading routes including slelected gate to station and station to gate bm's. Also maybe offer a route insta making service. Anyway, I need to know a few things first:
1. What are the major and minor trading hubs in each region? For instance:
Heimatar: Rens The Forge: Jita
2. What are the major bottleneck/gankage systems and what regions are they in? Eg: Metropolis: Rancer Heimatar: Eiffer, Ammamake
3. In the major hubs, What stations are the major trading stations?
So if you can post the ones that are known to you here that would be great. Let's not let this bookmark nerf halt our ability to expand our trading!

I'm afraid I don't have much info for you to contribute to your service, however please put me on a mailing list or something to inform me when you are going to start offering this service.

Right now my attitude towards BM sellers and copiers is following: **** kill them all!
It is just so masochistic fun to wait 2 minutes when your ship undocks, firing missiles will take 5 seconds and disconections every 20 minutes. I wish to thank all BM sellers and copiers from tonight great gaming experience. Now... where is my whip?

believe me, as a bookmark duplicator/verifier to a major seller, the copying will continue through the patch, sets that used to cost 20M will probably be 75-100m, because of the attention that copying now requires, and alot of the smaller suppliers will be going under because they dont have the time to sit there and mindlessly copy tens of thousands of bookmarks

I think that your idea might work. However, you must find those spots by yourself - good places to sell your items are trade secrets Maybe you can rework your idea from instant BM selling to "good trading stations" BM selling? I could also bought few sets then and see have you found any better places.
Heheh. The lag from the last few days is incredible isn't it! Anyway, to make it pretty clear, I wasn't asking people for trade routes but mor for their knowledge of the major hubs. This is fairly common knowledge that, if I had a few hours to search these forums, I could come up with. I find that as a ship trader I do a lot of journeying to places like:
1. Jita and Rens 2. 0.5 systems near gateways to low-sec. 3. certain pathways into 0.0 fom empire
These are the 'highways of Eve. I though that making BM sets for these highways, and especially the trade lifelines into 0.0 would help out new traders/haulers. S
I was not interested in knowing your specific trading systems/stations.

Just to answer your question, from my personal experience:
Essence: Oursulaert, and the entire constellation Verge Vendor: Cistuvaert Placid: Stacmon and Orvolle
IMO I doubt if CCP has actually come up with a solution to the instas problem. They said they were going to introduce new game mechanics in Kali but they didn't say what it was going to be. ---------- EvE Ship Classes now in poster format |

I know it will, but this will cause a lot of attrition. There are already some of the bigger sellers on the forum here leaving the bm trade. Of course this was the intention of CCP was to reduce not edicate.
A lot of the bigger suppliers with copiers (like yourself) will find that the number of copiers will reduce as well.
So the prices will go up to 4 times the value and move right out of the reach of the newer players.
What I am trying to do is to put together bm sets that are smaller and focussed on saving traders and haulers 2 things. 1. TIME 2. SHIPS
Even if each bm is sold for 200k then, a small but focussed set will be worth the price. After all, very few people will ever visit every system in every region so why would they want the bm's for every system?

Not sure what regions these are in, but they're all lesser-scale hubs:
Tash-Murkon Prime Amarr Nonni Torrinos
The Big 3 are Jita, Oursulaert, and Rens The main stations are: Jita IV - Moon 4 - Caldari Navy Assembly Plant Oursulaert III - Federation Navy Testing Facilities Rens VI - Moon 8 - Brutor Tribe Treasury
in Rens there's also another station I visit often, not sure what it is. ----------------------- sig below

Since the patch, the Daikoku BM Team has evaluated the copying situation and will continue to provide bookmarks to the denizens of EVE. We are in the process of trimming unnecessary BMs from our sets, creating a few new sets and reevaluating our price structure. Prices will rise, but definitely not by 400%.
Also, Torrinos is also a fairly important system.

You are right. I copied 2 whole sets of 545 bm;s last night when the server was not busy. It took me from 6:30pm until downtime (9pm) to copy 460 (x2) bm's. In that time I had to re log twice; 1st time took 10 minutes to open the existing can of bm's and the second time taking 18 minutes. After downtime I copied the rest in another 43 minutes including can opening time.
Total bm's copied : 1090 Total time: 3h 13m
It used to take me about 60 to 80 minutes to copy that many.
Note that I was not actually doing anything else and was keeping the drag an drops up constantly.
So prices going up 400% was a bit much. It is more like they should have risen 300%.
Please note, I do realize that you folk that live closer to London or whatever have vastly shorter copy times. For some reason Australian connects or priorities or whatever are much (s)lower.
