Clear up garbage instas and trash/reprocess garbage items in your assets time!

I've shrunk all my assets from spanning 20+ stations to 5...is that any good?
And all the stuff I have is in cans...

I think you mean liberating.
Honestly it couldnt hurt though, especially if a lot of the EVE population did it.

I have my stuff in containers in the stations... if ccp introduced the option to look into those containers remotely, and trash items in them, I would be happy to clean my assets up. :)

same here... either that or have them devise a way to separate items in your bin with tabs, like the corp hangar.

If your containers have been sitting there a while try repackaging them remotely then you can see all your juicy goodies in there.

I only used a giant secure can once, more than a year ago. I was young and naive, and thought it would help me mine. I'd gladly clear it up, except I can't remember which system it's in. 
That, I think, clearly exemplifies the problem with secure cans.

I try and do it regularly as i travel between systems. Those shuttles and random junk add up real quick.

Am I good good EVE citizen seeing as I only keep the loot I know I'll need and re-process the rest?
If so....do I get a badge? 
...on the other hand using a banana might be a viable alternative.

You'd be so proud of me, my assets are entirely contained within the cargo bay of a single shuttle in one station. :)

Ive got 185 items in oursu 3 fed navy, and lots of shuttles / nub ships everywhere else  I may trash them later, and clean up my hangar.

It astounds me in 3 years CCP haven't been able to implement folders/ sections for hangers so we are forced to use cans if we want to organise! Think corp hanger, how hard is that? Let us create our own folders for items/ships hanger (which can be expanded in assets) and also while you at it give us folders/accounts for our wallet. Some of us like to manage our isk too... |

Oh I hate when my assest have any more than 5 stations, becuase I start loosing track of what I own. I always trash a large sum of items every few weeks to keep my assets nice and tidy. I would go so far to say that I am a bit OCD'ish with it.

Game developers usually reward the players for making their job simple. Or they simply restrict server tables with a hard limit.
CCP could probably let stations bill players based on the m3 their hangars occupy. The problem would be solved very very soon if that were the case.
Must refine everything.

Remember to repackage your ships or cans before reprocessing, it can save a lot off tears later on

Put in interbus so i can hire a npc to haul all my junk from stations i never go to to a station i want :)
Of cus make the npcs use indys like the ones that undock and dock from stations and maybe if you want to pay more npc guards :P but if players pop the indys then it will drop the loot that it was hauling just like a player indy but with out the bookmarks so they will be a lot easyer to kill.
