2006.09.03 06:00:00 Red Alliance Troops rallied to engage southern opposition during "should be sleeping, WTF.." hours in the region of Omist. The ensuing conflict resulted in lots of fun between RA gunslinger's and 2 coalition carriers + loads of support. Included is the actual TS Audio

Did RA even notice that an outpost was going up ?
That was LV's aim - protect the Egg. We succeeded.
A few BSs lost is not much compared to a 25B outpost.
RA either :
1. Didn't know an egg was going up.
2. Didn't care.
3. Decided they couldn't do anything about it.
Go figure.

Good fight; next time allow the video to speak for itself and forget including statistics because they will be subject to dispute - always. And our Archon pilot was very glad to escape.

I'd Say Both Sides won their respective Goals here.
Ra congrats you got a few nice kills.
LV congrats your Outpost is up and safe.
IMO though the safety of a 25 Billion isk outpost outweighed the value of the fleet.

We were about destroy an egg. But we came too late. 1h before DT and capitals weren't ready for that job. So we just flew to it, made several screenshots with an egg in background and departed.

As usual: target calling and a lot of emotions and curses. Fleet commander got overview bug in the very beginning and that made him very upset for the rest of the battle.

Still, subtitles would be great, I think TS recording in movies really help with immersion especially when in foreign languages :)

That was my first fleet battle and one of the finest moments in Eve for me so far .. absolutely rawwwked!!! I had just woken up abt 20 minutes previously and logged into LOI to the clarion call - "RA fleet, 30+ entering Omist, all hands to 1I6" ... wow
looking forward to part 2 - I fought in round 2 when the fight moved to the QSF gate 
the Russian TS commentary really adds a sinister air to the whole vid - though I have to wonder, how do your non-Russian speaking pilots cope with the language barrier?

Seriously, it isn't much of a challenge. Anyone can pick up a few words in a different language, and in this case, it's only a matter of catching who's primary. Many of the FCs speak English well, so it's rarely an issue.
See, Eve is an educational game, not a space game. He who learns the most curse words in a foreign language is the true winner. |
