I wrote a petition over a 5 weeks ago!
But were is the answer?
Is there any Gamemaster alive
I wouldnŠt call this service in any way!
And now i wanted to write another one, but i canŠt because there is only one allowded.
This is realy a wast of time! Even because there are so many reasons to write petitions at the moment! Disconnects several times a day. If they cannot handle that many people they should tell them to stay in the station if they donŠt want to loose there ships / drones for no reason!

Ok, so just stop making petitions of any kind except for stuck or harassment petitions and allow the queue to reduce in size. If you lose a ship, get over it and wait for a fortnight or so to send in a petition. -----

You know what the main problem is? People have a tendency to report everything! Little lag? report it! Some CTD's? Report it? etc. ect. etc.
Now, think of this. There are 140.000 players in this game, and we have had like 29.000 of these online at the same time. Now, if every single one of these should post a ticket every time the game crashes or lags etc. we are speaking about 29k tickets! Even if 10% of these reports it we speak about 2900 tickets! I am sure we can all agree that CCP can use their money on better things then getting GMs because everyone reports the obvious?
It would be great if ppl started to THINK a little before making tickets. I have been playing this game for 9 months now, and I have played EVERY day, at average 4-5 hours a day. Sometimes less, but mostly more. And I have only had need to make 1 ticket in this time. Maybe its luck, i dunno. But I do now for sure many ppl tends to report anything...
As I said, using your head is allowed from time to time

2 Weeks would be o.k., but giving no answer for 5 weeks is no way of telling the people that this game is its money worth.
Sitting 5 weeks on station and waiting for an answer costs 25Ç.

Ok there is a lot of complaints about GMs and petition wait times. I filled in a petition this morning half an hour before downtime. (Bad clone jump unable to log in) I had a response within 5 minutes. Granted it hasn't been fixed yet, but i'm sure someone is working on it. Also I realise that stuck petitions get pirority, however the fast response does show that GMs are active, and I am sure that none of them goof off all day long.

People petition too much, that's why you have had to wait five weeks. Get disconnected due to a faulty internet connection? Petition! Lose a ship to "lag" caused by a four year old computer? Petition! Had to wait for two days without an answer from a GM? Petition it again!

heres a hint for anyone filling petitions be as detailed as possible simple i lost xxx without listing the system or other circumstances will get u put on the waiting automated queue - if u are able to be detailed then the devs are able to quickly determine where the problems are and get back if its all mumbled up and not able to be understood you will get ignored

Stop sending reimburstment petitions ffs, unless they are totally and utterly required, I bet 99% of the petitions are from people who lost their Raven while running level 4 missions in Jita on a patch day.
On the plus side, my harrassment petition was answered in less than 5 minutes. rawr -----

Disconnects several times a day is not a reason to write a petition, the que is so long because of people like you clogging up the system for no reason whatsoever.

As I stated before, CCP should stop allowing people to petition for ship reimbursements or when they get scammed. For some reason people will petition the stupidest things.

I am sure, that there are many many petitions wrote every day, but waiting over 5 weeks for an simple yes or no is too much!
Even if i think of 2 petitions i wrote over 4 month ago, never getting an answer.
If they made the server work propper there wouldnŠt be a reason writing petitions! Ever thought of this?

there lies the crux of the matter they are in to much of a rush to push forward lack of testing lots of errors in patch programming overworked staff and being too ambitious and the current problems are the result

I am only angry about this bad service.
For all the things i lost by disconnets i could have bought 2-3 100day GTCs.
And it is getting worse and worse...
good idea to make the people copy all there BMs by telling them that soon it will only be possible to copy 5 at a time. That is a nice way to get 10000 petitions more!

I have to disagree here. It may not be the fastest ever, but they get *some* of the requests done. I've played multiple MMO's in the past, this is the only one I've stuck with, and at least part of that is due to the fact that in my opinion, it's customer support owns any other.

Guess should write a petition and make a suggestion to solve the queues:
1) CCP shall publish clear petition guidelines (like when you are allowed to get reimbursement)
2) Writing a petion incurs a hefty cost; if the petition is deemed valid, the cost is reimbursed.
3) The cost should be something that affects everyone, like 'You lose 24 hours of training time for each improper petition you submit'
Pros: + We don't have to pay the costs of 'stupid users' + People will think a moment before filing a petition + More clearly filled petitions + Reduced queues + Certain types will get mad and quit
Cons: - Uhm..lot of initial complaints

Just wanted to give credit where it's due: I lost a big chunk of standing the other night when the server crashed and I could not finish a mission in time. Even with the huge backlog in petitions, I submitted one, not really expecting it to be answered. Within 5 hours I had my standings back. WTG GM Huggin!
Yeah, the backlog sucks, but I honestly believe that CCP is doing the best it can. And, TBH, at this point I'd rather have them spend their staffing dollars on devs and Q/A. |

No offense here, but I think its more accurate to say answering petitions are a waste of time. At least 90% of all petitions in game involve someone doing something stupip, loosing a ship and then claiming it was either an exploit or a bug that caused the death because CCP has foolishly created a false sense of hope to players by actually giving people ISK when they loose ships in the past. What CCP needs to do is create a strict absolutly no refunds policy. If you loose something in game wether to a bug, an exploit or anything else, you have to chalk it off as bad luck. This would eliminate 90% of the petitions and allow CCP to focus on people with real problems.
